This was a gift for my husband and replacement for the frother that came with our Nespresso. This is a game changer! It can do so much more than our original including cold foam. My husband was super excited when I surprised him.Definitely worth every penny.

A bit pricey, but very nice nonetheless
This milk frother is replacing an old reliable frother I’ve had for years. That frother has done a good job but the interior of the device is coated in non-stick and it’s starting to fleck so it’s time to get a new one.The first thing I love about this frother is that the main body is stainless steel and therefore won’t have that aforementioned problem of any non-stick coating flecking off. The frothing pot also completely removes from the main base which is a huge plus in my book. My prior frother was one tall unit and it had buttons on the unit and although it did lift from the power base, there were a bunch of metal contacts at the bottom of the frothing pot which I didn’t like getting wet but was difficult not to when washing it. No such issues with this device, the whole frothing pot lifts out of the base for super easy clean up.One of the selling points as far as the advertisement goes is the numerous frothing settings, but I find this to be a bit confusing and overrated. I don’t know why there are so many settings for a device that just spins or shakes a tiny frothing wand at the bottom of the pot. I’ve tried numerous different settings and can’t find any difference in the type or style of milk froth it produces. The device can froth cold froth which is a different setting than hot frothed milk but I find that the cold froth milk is a bit off putting over hot coffee and the froth doesn’t last as long as warmed (“hot”) frothed milk. I did try almond milk using the “cashew milk” setting (I’ve never heard of cashew milk) and I didn’t notice any difference than running the almond milk through the hot froth setting. If there’s no discernible difference in the outcome of the froth then all the settings do is serve to confuse the user with useless knob spins trying to figure out which setting you really want to use. Combined with less than stellar instructions it’s quite difficult to tell which setting is which just by looking at the tiny LCD screen on the main base. Take a look at my pictures as I’ve tried my best to distinguish the different settings for you. Personally, I leave the device on hot frothed milk no matter what type of milk I am using and just use that one and only setting. Luckily the device always powers on to the last used setting so you don’t have to spin the dial and choose every time.Personally I feel that this milk frother is highly overpriced and I’ll be taking away a star for the lack of value. That said, this device does an excellent job at frothing milk and if you can stomach the price tag, it is worth it.I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Cheers!

Great item and well worth the price. Easy to clean and store. Makes all of the coffee creamer into froth. The froth quality is lip smacking good.

Easy to use, quiet and makes delicious froth milk but not hot enough
Do you want to expand your domain of types of espresso drinks you can make at home? If so, this milk frother is your desired tool to expand your espresso drinks into cappuccino, latte, macchiato, latte macchiato, mocha and flat white. The instructions state use frozen milk (chilled milk?) and the icons in the booklet don’t match the 8 different settings on the knob. This is not a problem because every time this product gets plugged in it defaults to the first setting named 1) dense froth milk. The icon on the knob changes its illustration to show the other settings when turned such as 2) airy froth milk, 3) hot milk, 4) chocolate milk, 5) cold froth milk, 6) cashew milk froth, 7) soy milk froth and 8) dairy based baby food. I plan on using the first 5 settings (not sure the difference between 3) hot milk and 4) hot chocolate) I have no plans on using settings 6), 7) or 8). It’s quick and easy to use. Place the stainless steel cup into the base, then secure the spring round stirrer into the bottom of this metal cup. Add your milk between the min and max marks inside the metal cup. The higher max mark is for making hot milk/chocolate milk only. Check to insure by looking at the knob your desired type of frothing, then push the knob inwards. This starts the very quick process (2 to 3 minutes) of producing an excellent tasting milk froth. The higher the milk fat percentage, the denser the froth. I added about 50% half/half to my 2% chilled milk. I have years of experience using frothers, and this product is really fast and makes a delicious drink. The hot chocolate is awesome along with dense/airy froth. I would have preferred a second spinner stirrer and this frother is the quickest but not hot enough. I’ve have to place my beverage into the microwave oven for about 20 seconds to get it hot enough for my taste. One of the best features is that the entire top metal cup can be cleaned inside the dishwasher. The bottom base should avoid water so just wipe it clean with a damp cloth if needed. Overall, this frother makes excellent milk froth, is very quick, easy to clean but just doesn’t make the drink hot enough.
