I can say this from experience of owning 5 of them. They did not break due to heat/cold. They broke due to my negligence. This one though is outstanding. Not only is it easy for my chubby hands to get inside and scrub. But it’s large size lets me steep a “Large” amount of tea. The tea strainer reaches within an 1/8 of an inch from the bottom of the pot so if you want only a couple of cups you can brew it (the water reaches the tea in the strainer). It does not drip when you pour.
