Writing with markers or anything DOES NOT STAY ON cups. Spay sealant makes it run down n just letting it dry comes off on ur hands. I finall got for my 5 yr old n myself clear vinyl sticker back wrap. Worked perfect. Will last yrs. Great for the cost i even bought another box for us. We made soccer teams, Dodgers, car racing for grandpa i cut iut pictures of her n her new sister n put it in a cup for her mommy with flowers. There big n really sturdy . Better than 7-11 cups big time soo worth it if only if u invest in vinyl sticker wrap. Or u will wake up to a mess
