    Lovely Pressed Glass Design
These decorative jars were an item I really looked forward to receiving. As I lifted the shipping box to open it, I heard the unmistakable sound of broken glass. It wasn’t as bad as I thought – only one of the jars were broken. I believe the others are intact, but I’ll check them out when daylight arrives.Six jars are included in this set. All are 5.5″ x 3.7″. I have trouble visualizing diameters and volumes in my mind – I have to actually see them, so these jars were a bit larger than I had envisioned. The glass is lead and BHA free, per the description and dishwasher safe, except for the wooden lids. The lids seem to be secure. The glass itself is pressed with floral patterns and has a. frosted effect. I like to conjure up edibles (food) for gift-giving and that’s pretty much the only reason I selected this set. Capped with the wooden tops, any treats would be enhanced.I will say, the packaging could be improved. The jars were basically well-protected, but at the bottom of the box, despite the padding, the actual glass was no more than about 1/2″ from the outside and that’s why the one jar broke. These little jars are pretty, unusual and will add charm to what you select for the contents. 5 stars…

    Not stackable as stated
I am conflicted with these jars.I believed the description as “stackable” but that’s not the case. The wooden lids are recessed on top, but the bottom of the jars don’t fit in the recess, but on top of it on the rim, and just slide right off. The next thing I noticed is that one lid is warped and doesn’t fit all the way down like the rest of them. I tried it on all the other jars and same fit. The jars are not threaded so you just cannot buy a metal mason jar lid, so not sure yet if I have to take out a sander and take it to my own ingenuity to try and get it to go down, maybe find a huge, expensive cork or just make believe and put it to the back of the cabinet.UPDATE!! I discovered the jar with the ill fitting lid is actually a smaller jar than the rest by about 1/8 inch. I have 5 the same and one different, same pattern matching pattern as it’s pair up. I did find the lid that fits the smaller jar. I’ll use that for cat treats which will sit a different place than the rest. Weird all 5 the same and one different in same box/order.I do really like the size for peas, lentils, beans for storage, and looks nice in my pantry cabinet with glass door. It’s not tight enough nor sealed for anything liquid and I wouldn’t even use for sugar or flour. I would say it’s a stretch to say these are air tight as well, they have wooden lids. They do fit well enough no insects could enter. They look nice, good size. 4-stars because of all of that different size above.

    Excellent storage option…
These are THE prettiest glass storage containers I’ve ever used. I don’t usually like stuff on my countertops, but I will make an exception for these. They are of exceptional quality. The jars are sturdy and the wooden lids have a nice, secure seal. They are perfect for keeping things like tea, coffee, etc. and they keep items fresh for weeks if not months. Because these are on the smaller side, I won’t use them for flour, sugar, or other more high volume items. These do stack well, if that’s of relevance. They are easy to clean and I don’t put the lids in the dishwasher but hand wash only. Really pleased!

    Great Jars
Nice items. Seal works well. The wood top cracked on one pretty quickly and the glass is a bit warped on another. They are still usable and work well, but I couldn’t give them 5.

    Traditionally handsome.
Nice set of six 24 oz jars, made of thick pressed glass with pretty old fashion designs. They have good looking wooden lids that have a silicone sealing gasket which makes them air tight.Plus they can be stacked on top of one another-the lids are recessed.Looking wonderfully traditional on the kitchen counter top of the 1890’s farm house we’re restoring.Dishwasher safe but probably not the wooden lidsWould make a charming gift.

    Cute glass jars
These glass jars are beautiful. But, two of the lids came broken. It appears that those two lids are a different size than the others. One of them is on the jar and I can’t even get it off. The other one will not go on at all. Even without the lids, the jars can be used.

    so pretty and functional
I ordered these glass jars to meal prep salads throughout the week – & they did not disappoint! They look and feel great. The air tight seal is pretty good & it holds a nice amount of food. I might actually use these jars as Tupperware as well. Definitely recommend!

    Beautiful, but not truly stackable
These jars are absolutely lovely with three different embossed patterns in the glass. The covers are attractive and come with a silicone ring inside. I would definitely not say that they are airtight though. Some lids are looser than others so you might use this for something you use and refill frequently or maybe on a bathroom counter, which they would look elegant. The other thing is they’re not truly stackable. Yes they fit one on top of the other, but there is nothing to keep them from being knocked over, such as an indent on the bottom of the glass to catch the lid. Still, these are beautiful and would be quite useful for organizing a countertop.
