Works great!
I’m a total newbie w espresso. My Christmas gift, to myself, was a DeLonghi espresso machine. Just an inexpensive one. So I’ve been trying to be consistent in tamping the coffee, and then varying the amount of pressure for packing it. It’s different every time. This little gadget works perfect! Love it. I like the wood and stainless look, and it has a nice weight to it. I have a 51mm portafilter. Very important that you get the right diameter, or it won’t fit!Great purchase, very glad I got it.

Handle cracked within a month
This is a great tamper. Love the wood and metal construction.Ordered it on Oct 2.By Nov 10 it had cracked up the side.I was out of town most of that month, so I had only used it a handful times.Too late to return it.

The piece has a beautiful look and feel to it! Works perfectly to tamp & level my double shots of espresso! I love the gauge on the side to show deprh of the tamp, the 30 pound calibrated spring feels great! They just need to figure out this rosewood handle!! Itâs beautiful, but as in other reviews, thereâs a pattern of these things cracking! Iâm gonna get some kind of wood epoxy and continue to use it. But because of the handle, I can only give three stars.
