This review is for the 50 Pcs Commercial Cold Brew Coffee Filters,20″ x 20″ Commercial Cold Brew Bags For Commercial Model Cold Brew Coffee Makers and 5-Gallon Commercial Systems, with Drawstring,Brew Up To 5 LBS Coffee. These are nice thick mesh strainer bags. Mine however do not have drawstrings on them, which is a bummer as two pics in the listing does show clearly a drawstring. But it’s fine for my use as I will mostly be using them to put fresh fruit in.My mom doesn’t like to put her bananas, apples… in the fridge, so we always end up with flies/fruit flies in the house! But I recently did an experiment and I put the banans she bought in a sealed up breathable bag….no flies/fruit flies! So from now on all fresh fruits not put in the fridge are going in these and being sealed up!Obviously these can take being wet, so they can be hand washed to keep clean when needed. These have tons of uses limited only to your imaginations! Be great for packing a suit case to keep organized for small-med items, great to organize baby items and things around the house/backpack/diaper bag… Use to brew beer or coffee/tea large batches… Ohhhh these are made of cotton too so they can easily be dyed!Hmmmm I just had a thought, I can use these cut down/sewn to make a permanent filter I can use in my percolator coffee pot! No matter what I do using the little round filer discs and regular coffee filters I keep getting grounds in my coffee! I have a fine mesh strainer and I just put that overtop of my big coffee mug so it strains the grounds out. Love my stovetop percolator coffee pot, just would be really nice if I don’t have to strain it to get my yummy morning coffee!Regular price $37.99 per the listing and on sale right now $35.99 for the 50 pack in this large size is a great buy!As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

These are great for 5 gallon brews! I used mine for a ferment and worked perfectly! I would definitely recomend this item at this decent price.

Used this to make cold brew coffee for an at home nitro setup. The bags are sturdy, no off taste, simple to use, and work perfect.

These are definitely commercial size. I used one in a gallon jug and it was just way too big. But the material is good and works for the purpose. If I had the correct size container, I would probably use this more.

I help organize a 16 day long camp every year for 30-50 people, that has a lot of coffee-hounds among the attendees. Rather than try to keep up with coffee demands using traditional drip coffee pots, we’ve switched to boiling a giant pot of hot water on the big propane burner, and pouring that into a 5-gallon insulated beverage dispenser (the big rectangular type that the military uses). At first we used a stainless mesh basket strainer for steeping the coffee, but that was very slow and didn’t hold enough grounds for making a strong brew. These “tea bag” style filter bags are huge and exactly what we need for brewing a serious amount of coffee in a strong enough concentration to satisfy our all-day-long-coffee-lovers. I love the drawstring, which lets us throw a few cups of coffee grounds into the bag and then cinch it tight and place that in the bottom of the insulated carafe, then pour the hot water in, without making a mess and getting the grounds everywhere. The string stays tied to the exterior handle of the carafe so we can pull it out after an hour or two. I will note that sometimes it is a bit challenging to yank the string holder free from the nonwoven textile of the rest of the bag, so it might seem like there’s not really a drawstring at first–just give it a really good tug, and the tab will come free, allowing the drawstring to cinch the bag correctly. There’s enough string to tie the bag securely at the neck if you’re concerned about grounds possibly escaping, and still have plenty of string to hang out of the carafe for retrieval.I think if I were using these bags at home, I would actually consider them reusable. They’re very sturdy and they open up all the way so it’s easy to dump the coffee grounds (or whatever you’re infusing), rinse the bag and dry it out after use. At camp, it’s safer to just discard them after each use, rather than trying to get them sanitized for reuse in a primitive environment with dust, bugs and all.The only improvement that I could wish for with these bags would be if they were entirely a natural material; then they could just be composted or tossed in the campfire without worrying about packing out the trash. There’s some synthetic element to these bags–I did a burn test and there was melting present, similar to burning nylon cord, though not as smelly. If they could find a way to make these bags without whatever that synthetic material is, and market them as entirely natural, that would be fantastic! But even though their current material means we have to put them in the trash, not compost, they’re still a great solution for brewing huge quantities of coffee and I still highly recommend them.
