Customers say
Customers find this decaf coffee has a pleasant taste that’s not bitter or acidic, and appreciate its organic content with no chemicals in the decaffeination process. Moreover, the coffee receives positive feedback for its freshness, strength, and value, with one customer noting it’s a good choice for a mild breakfast coffee. However, the aroma and roast color receive mixed reviews, with several customers reporting a dull old smell and very dark roast.

Excellent value. Water-processed, organic coffee. Fresh aroma. DARK roast, but isn’t bitter.
This decaf by 365 Whole Foods Market, is an excellent value for water processed decaf which is organic!Like others, I was hoping for a medium roast, but this is a DARK ROAST. Even so, it delivers a non-bitter, smooth cup. Perhaps Whole Foods would consider adding a medium roast (pretty please) to this line! Other than my personal roast preference, this is an excellent decaf and value.

Great affordable decaf beans
I was trying to find decaf beans that make good coffee, specifically cold brew, that are more affordable. The last bag I tried before this was awful, but I thought I’d try these before going back to the more expensive ones I was using. I am not disappointed with these at all. Plenty strong enough and not bitter or acidic. I’ll buy them again

Please Keep IN STOCK1
Iâve never liked coffee, but since drinking this brand- Iâm in love. Itâs very strong, but blends well with my cafe protein shake. The color is dark, but I let it steep for about 15-20 minutes. I do my best to get it strong. Its aroma is amazing and reminds me of childhood. The acidity is a bit much for me, but I donât notice it once I add my heated, plant-based protein as creamer. The smoothness is just right for my reason for drinking. Please get it back in stock!

Definitely NOT “medium” roast!
Photo shows comparison with other coffee brands.I am by no means a coffee connoisseur, but I’ve been drinking my share of Joe for over 4 decades now. So I think I know a little. This stuff is in no way a “light to medium” roast. This stuff is BURNT. It’s nearly black, and it has a sour, burn-y smell that is off-putting. I will amend this review after I’ve actually tasted it, but suffice it to say, this gives Starbucks’ French Roast–their darkest–a run for it’s money. While I can easily see the coffee oils on the beans (a good thing), there are also MANY broken pieces of bean throughout the bag, almost as if they took all the leftover coffee “bits & bobs,” from other batches, threw them in a roaster, packaged them up, and said, “Meh–good enough.”I bought this just to try something new, and because for the price you get 2 lbs worth, a good deal in the coffee world. I hope I’m not disappointed. So Amazon and Whole Foods, I truly HOPE it it’s worth the money because otherwise, it’s good for nothing other than making a body scrub or plant mulch out of it.EDIT: Keeping my 3 star review. On its own, this coffee is nothing to write home about. It definitely has a “burnt” flavor lurking in the background, so I opted to mix it with a more “normal” lighter brew to see if that would help. It did, thankfully. However, that doesn’t excuse the false claim of “light to medium roast” advertised on line and on the bag itself. I wanted so badly to really like this stuff. Thankfully, I got a refund on it. AMAZON/WHOLE FOODS/365…DO BETTER PLEASE.

Our daily coffee
This is our go to coffee at home. Great flavor and it is Swiss Water processed. That is very important for us with decaf coffee- do not buy the regular decaf, only look for Swiss water process so that it is naturally processed for removing the caffeine (not removed by chemicals).
