Not the expected
Hithe cups are not what I expect, the finishing is not clean and there is black spots at the bottom like bacteria canât be removed

Something wrong!
I had to return them as there was water damage in the package. The cups were moldy! Amazon is great for returns though.

Sulphur smell when heated
When I heated the cup there was a strong smell of sulphur that wont go away no matter how much you wash the cup. Sad. It was a cute cup maybe for a small plant but for tea. No.

Great idea! But needs help…
I will start to say I think this is a really cool idea. A very sustainable way of making cups. This cup is still âin the rawâ as it is damp and unfinished. Since the first review, It took me a few weeks to dry out to less than 10 – 15 percent moisture. Then I sealed with natural wax. This has to be done to prevent stains, bacteria and mold. I used all natural methods to clean and seal. This cost me and extra 10 bucks and time. Thatâs being said the price of these cups should be evaluated. ***original review, from devilry *** There was a little bit of mold, I simply scrubbed most of it off with salt. On one cup I got it 90% clean and on the other about 99%. I talk to Amazon and theyâre going to work to see if there is something that can be done with packaging. If you purchase this cup I would put salt on it to dry them further since they seem freshly made. I use prime delivery and they got here within two days. Iâm not sure how the cups hold up long-term but they seem sturdy. If youâre reading this definitely use prime in order and cooler weather and you shouldnât have a problem. Just make sure to take care of them when washing and drying. Also, donât use chemicals on them as will absorb the chemicals.

Film on inside
I ordered 5 of these cups and all of them had a film on the inside that was peeling away as soon as i took them out of th packaging.

MOLD
These cups came covered in so much mold I thought I ordered the wrong color. Nope, thatâs just a layer of mold so thick you canât even see the wood. Absolutely disgusting. They smell horrible, too. I canât imagine Iâd feel safe or comfortable drinking out of these even after a hundred washes.
