Good bags, exactly as described.
I was getting very tired of all these sellers on Amazon saying their bags are 9mil, 9.4mil, 10mil thick. As most of you know that is both sides of the bag together. Reputable companies list their bag thickness in one side. So this company listed 7mil bags, and when I got them I measured them with a set of calipers. And they are indeed 7mil PER SIDE. Ziplock is a nice feature. I actually used the zip to force all the air out, then zip the bag closed. Then used my straight iron set to 400 to seal the bag. Will buy again.

I really like this product
I really like these mylar bags because they are thick enough so the dried food doesn’t poke small holes in the sides. The fact that they stand on their own is so helpful when filling them up! I definitely recommend them!

Thick, easy enough to seal, and they stand up.
Iâve tried many different brands, and I like these the most. That they stand on their own on a counter makes it way easier to fill up, as well as stand in a closet or container. Theyâre thick unlike a lot of junk made in the Far East these days where food inside the Mylar bag can punch a hole thru it easily enough with sharp edges.

Best Bags, But Not The Cheapest
I have been storing long term freeze dried food for over 3 years now. I have tried other brands and only two others have stood up for comparing. These are not in the least the less expensive bags, however, I have found through experience that in this category, you get what you pay for. I mean that sincerely. I have purchased bags from out and out liars about the thickness. One needs at least 5 ml each layer of bag. When you see an ad for “thicker bag, 9 ml thick” that usually means they are only 4.5 ml thick by normal measurement. Pack Fresh USA is 7 ml thick each layer. The corners are rounded, and don’t get a hole from my finger nail hitting the bag when opening like my most recent purchase from another brand does. Take my work for it, read the reviews, these are your better buy except the other two brands, one more expensive, the other less, but different design. I don’t know that I am allowed to name the other companies, but reviews will say it all. One brand that is good sounds like it should come from Australia if that helps. These are my favorite go to unless they are sold out when I need mylar bags.
