Pretty much as described in the listing, the bowl is a true 30ml liquid capacity with a handle of 119mm. Overall length of bowl & handle combined is 163mm.While the handle is attached with a simple spot weld, that small connection should be more than strong enough for measuring out coffee grounds (or for whatever else you may want to use it for).For myself, that 30ml measure holds a touch over 9g of espresso grind coffee, which is the amount that fills the large portafilter on my machine, producing a satisfying double-shot. Knowing that I can just reach into the jar and get the perfect amount of grounds every time without second-guessing? That makes me a happy caffeine consumer!

Long handle, made of stainless steel, looks just like the pictures. 30ml equals 2 US tablespoons, usually perfect for one large mug of coffee. This is nice.
