Requires patience but works as intended
I really wanted to like these silicone Paperless Portable Pour Over Coffee Maker with reusable filters but as other have noted, they run a little slow. I was experimenting with different pour over grind settings with my Niche grinder but in the end just dialed it for the most course setting and even then it took over 3-4 minutes. I suppose if you’re camping you have all the time in the world but I also wanted to be able to use these for travel and I’m anxious my coffee is getting cold due to the longer prep time. The filters can be removed for cleaning but they also come off easily so you need to handle with care when opening and folding. If you stretch them out by grabbing on to the top and bottom part of the silicone the filter stays in place without any issues. With a little patience you can brew a perfect cup. The slow running filters are also helped by the fact that you get two of them so you can brew two cups at the same time to save time. I haven’t experimented with using a paper filter with these to see if I get faster results, but then again I really would rather not have to carry paper filters when travelling with these.As an Amazon Vine Voice, I provide unbiased reviews of products most people would need or want. Makes a really good cup of coffee.
My city composting service doesn’t allow you to include paper filters, and my inexpensive source for paper filters is no longer convenient, so I decided to give this a try.It makes a really good cup of coffee, reminiscent of a French press. It takes a bit longer to drip, but it’s worth the wait. And more compact than my plastic Melitta cone for travel, and no need for filters. Great buy!

Disappointing little devices
Maybe I’m just impatient, but these things take FOREVER to brew a cup of coffee. The screens definitely keep grounds out of our cup, but they also keep water from passing through them too. If you’re patient enough to wait for pour over coffee these are for you, but I think I’ll just buy a French press. I will say that these are absolutely space saving and pretty much fit anywhere in your camping gear.

Doesnât work
Good idea, worked for the first few pours. Then slowed, then stopped after just a few weeks. The micro filter just gets blocked -I soaked/brushed but to no effect. No point in buying one.

Makes good coffee, packs flat, light weight
Required some trial and error but the reward was a good single cup of coffee:Rinse unit to wet screen before start (as with French- drip) and add a rounded tablespoon of coffee. Pouring gently at first to wet out the grounds, add 6 ounces of hot water. Cover to conserve heat while it drips.
