These jars definitely do the trick! The silicone seal inside of the lid seals the jar for no leakage in transport and they are a large enough size to bring a large amount of soup!

I bought 8 gallon sized jars because I needed the larger ones to put my seeds in for milling. I love the wide open mouth so I can dish out my seeds easily – no need to pour out. I thought I would like the metal lid style better, but the white ones work much better and won’t rust. The signs they give you are so much better than using stickers to display what is inside. Great idea!! The glass is strong but not overly heavy, and I love the square design. They are beautiful and are now displayed on my ”Bakers Rack”. They are so worth it for the quality and the design. I will be ordering more as I need them.

These are great. You can make a big batch of kimchi with a 3-lb head of Napa cabbage and still have a bit of clearance on the top to prevent spillage due to the bacteria releasing gas during fermentation. The wide mouth is fantastic for getting food in and out, AND, the wider base is space-efficient in your fridge.I can’t wait to make kimchi in it tomorrow but I’ll have to wait a bit to get it perfect. Good purchase.
