These hold 1 tsp of tea. There is a trick to opening these. Do not pull the tab down or it will snap. Push it out and it will open on the bottom hinge. I used these for my daughter’s bridal tea and put in a small cardboard teapot favor box along with a bag of Harney tea and some chocolates. They are adorable.

I didn’t realize how small these were. It fits about a tablespoon of loose tea. That’s probably fine for most teas, unless you pack a strong tea — then this might be a little small.

I was looking for something to put my loose tea in to seep…there a a lot of little hearts with this package…downside…I ended up with a cup full of floating loose tea…the containers or holes in them were not small enough to keep the loose tea from getting out. I would not recommend this product.

Large enough holes but not mesh. Still prefer just loose leaf in water and a strainer, but my customers like a tea thingy like this! So hearts it is.
