I LOVE my new mug! The color is just as expected and it feels so good in my hand. The weight is just right. I love that I can brew my tea without getting lil pieces in my water. The lid is handy for keeping it warm while brewing. Also it’s dishwasher safe!

Great aesthetic, less practical
I really like the look of the mug, and the built infuser makes it very easy to make a great cup of tea. However, the bottom of the mug being such a rough sandstone is not practical. I have to be careful how to grip the bottom part of the handle because it’s so rough to the touch. As well, I can’t actually use the mug on some surfaces because I’m worried I’ll scratch them.

I have been exploring some different methods of brewing tea and – while this may not be the most efficient – it is certainly the best *looking* method I have :)The cup itself is gorgeous, in my opinion. Maybe it’s the color palette, the types of ceramic stain, the way it was fired, I don’t know. But it looks good on my kitchen shelf.In fact, I might use it more often if it didn’t look as good! Given the option between dirtying this cup versus a stained, old mug, I choose to keep this one clean.All that said, it still works very well for your loose-leaf teas. The lid and strainer cup fit in well, and just loose enough to disassemble by fingertip. As far as I can tell, unless I break it myself, this cup could last many years and might look and taste even better with age!My only feedback, in retrospect, is that I wish the lid and strainer cup had a small crescent void space to insert a straw. It could probably perform well as a mate cup? (I rarely drink mate, but I might more often if this general tea cup could be configured for it.)

Very attractive and handy way to easily brew and drink tea!
My wife loves experimenting with different flavorful teas with myriad alleged medicinal benefits. The process of enjoying these beverages can be impeded by the lack of a teapot for steeping the tea. The infuser and lid for this cup allows her to steep the tea right in the cup, making the whole process a lot simpler. She also has a habit of of pouring herself a hot cup, then setting it down and forgetting it until it has gotten cold and lost a lot of volatile flavor and aroma subtleties. The lid allows her to keep the tea hot and fresh for a long time, prolonging her potential to enjoy the experience. The cup is very nice to look at and I don’t really have anything negative to say about the thing. Highly recommend!

Gave this mug as a Christmas gift and 11 days later the handle snapped off. The mug was hand washed only becasue I don’t have a dishwasher.

This mug looks great, and feels nice when holding it in your hands.The steeping basket has a nice fine mesh and doesn’t allow loose tea to travel into the cup.I took off a couple stars because as I was drinking my first cup of tea from this mug, I noticed a part that appears to have been chipped before the final glaze was done. It’s got one sharp spot on it. As long as I hold the mug in my left hand while drinking from it, it won’t be a huge issue, but…. I hold my mug with my right hand. To steady the mug while bringing it up to drink, I place my thumb on the chipped spot. That’s actually how I noticed the defect.

Unfortunately it was delivered broken so I had to return it and get a refund. The attached part with a handle might be pretty weak.
