Great for travel purposes…
These pouches are perfect for storing small amounts of things like shampoo and lotion. I tested one by sealing it with my flat iron, and it stays intact. These will be perfect for filling with toiletries when I travel. I definitely plan on using them when my teenager goes to camp, since she usually misplaces my small travel bottles.

Perfect for travel
I love these for traveling. I put my shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc. in these. Then I have just enough for my trip and it saves me so much space.

Handy for condiments
I really like these for packing various condiments in lunches and travel meals. They seal up at around 370-380 degrees Fahrenheit and theyâre plenty thick where they wonât explode easily if they get smashed up in a lunch bag or anything. These are just really nice and handy and could be used for a bunch of different things. Love them!

Great for travel
These little pouches are going to be great for travel. I have a heat seal machine, and these sealed up as expected. These pouches are a bit small, but larger than a ketchup packet. I’m thinking these will be great for toothpaste, since that is the hardest thing for me to find in a tiny travel size. I’ll just put a day’s worth of toothpaste in each pouch and seal it up. I can just fold over the packet and use a small binder clip to close it up. I wrote on the pouch with a permanent marker and it stayed put.

Great concept, but awkward to use.
I ordered the 2.36×7.87 inch size. These bags are definitely skinny, I wish these would have come with a funnel because all of my standard funnels are too wide with the bottom part being too short to fit through the narrow opening making it difficult to fill the bags. The funnel would topple over and fall out of the bag while I was filling it and then my powder would get clogged because it was not moving down the inside of the bag. This was a two person job in order to fill the bags, it was awkward to fill.I was hoping to use these to portion out protein shake mixes but I found it too hard to use and I couldn’t fit a full portion in there anyway. You have to leave enough room to heat seal and enough room to leave the end empty so you can tear the notch without the food going everywhere. I think this would work better for liquids.The bags have an open bottom which is where you fill the bags from. If you get any powder or liquid on the opening, you have to clean it thoroughly so you can heat seal it. Once the bag was clean, I was able to heat seal these with no problem. Since these bags arrive with the bottom open… this raises a concern for keeping the bags sterile while not in use. Many other mylar bags have zippers and arrive fully zipped to keep them sterile, but these are open. The notch was easy to tear open from the other end however it is very sharp.I think these are a nice idea, you just have to have the right type of items to put inside of them. I was only able to get 1/4 cup of protein powder and 1/4 cup of cheerios in the bags I used. I can see a shorter version of this bag being great for sending portioned out condiments in lunches.

Airtight packing for all sorts of things
I use these to pack sensitive electronic components in a dry environment. The take quite a bit of heat to seal properly. I have to run 2 cycles with me heat sealer but then they are very secure.

Good heat-seal foil pouches for single use
The sample pouches are opaque silver, making them usable for more light sensitive items. As the images indicate, the opening for filling is on the opposite side of the tear notches. The notches do resist incidental tearing, but give way fairly easy for intentional tearing.
