Great for freezing!
So far I’ve only used them for freezing soups, gumbo & stew, but I think they would be great for meal prepping. I’ve bought similar at discount stores & the quality of these is far superior. They close & seal tightly. The size is perfect for 2 large bowls of soup. And the price- you can’t beat it!

Preferable to glass
Bought quart canning jars at the same time. These, being so much lighter and shatter proof are by far the better buy for me. Sturdiness still unknown at this point.

Definitely NOT Leakproof, but also not terrible
I intended to use these containers for freezing homemade soup and that has worked great for me. The size is perfect, and they freeze well. But I struggle with the threads on the lids and containers; they’re a little difficult to get started/line up. At 55, I feel I’ve mastered screw top lids so I’m not sure why these have been such a struggle. I decided to use one of these containers this morning to mix up Chia Pudding. After I added my liquids and honey, I screwed the lid on tight and give it some good shakes. The liquid stayed inside during the shaking but when I set it upright on the counter, several drops leaked onto my hand and the counter. So, although I wouldn’t use these containers for transporting any type of liquid (or storing dry goods that need to be airtight), they do work great for and upright storage in my fridge and freezer. I do like the sturdiness of this container but I’d probably try another brand because I do need them to be leakproof.
