Good design – sturdy and well suited for Kombucha
A very nice piece of glassware. I only gave it a couple of points off for “value for the money.” I found something similar for $5 at Ross, or you can buy a gallon jar of pickles at Costco also for $5 and you get the pickles too! But if you don’t want to go hunting for jars or like them all to look the same, then this item is for you. It comes with a nice round glass lid, but when you brew Kombucha you use a cloth top anyway so that’s not an essential thing to have.

I am so happy with my gallon glass jar! It has worked perfectly for my Kombucha making project. When the jar arrived, it was packed in protective packaging to keep it safe during shipping. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to find not only the jar, but also a cloth and rubber band to use during my Kombucha making. My first batch of Kombucha is done & it worked like a charm! The lid that came with the first jar had a small crack in it right out of the package, but the company contacted me to make sure I was happy with their product & I just mentioned the lid. They immediately shipped me a replacement. It is so rare to not only find a product that lives up to the claims, but also a company that truly cares about itâs customers and their satisfaction. I would buy this product again & definitely will be buying from this company!

This jar had everything you need for making Kombucha. It comes with a rubber band and cloth for fermentation as well as a plastic lid. Its everything it claims to be in the description. Thanks, I like it very much, I just filled it with my first batch of Kombucha tea and it is fermenting in the original box. Will have more info once my tea is ready and I go on for the next batch. Second batch is fermenting, jar is great, easy to clean and I can get my hand inside for cleaning.

Good bang for your buck
I have a couple of these brewing ‘booch for me right now. They’re great, and include everything you need to brew kombucha — a vessel, a cheesecloth for brewing ventilation, and a cap for transport or when you want to put a SCOBY on hold. They’re sturdy and get the job done. Great deal for the price.
