Good basic espresso glasses
Finally splurged on a high-end coffee maker and I kept hearing that glass is best for drinking espresso, so I took a âshotâ with these (pun intended!). Having put the money into the machine, I wanted to find glasses that were well priced and functional because I had no idea if I would prefer glass to ceramic. At $9.99 for 2, the small glass espresso cups are a great deal. They were packaged well and arrived unbroken and they are exactly as described. They are small, demitasse sized, as they should be for espresso. They are a thin, with a single layer of glass (if you want double walled glass you need to spend more $$) and they are just the right size for a standard espresso pour. If you have larger hands you will feel silly holding these at first, but get over it- they do a great job and I really like the effect of the glass versus ceramic. I have only hand washed them because they are on the thin side and I worried about breakage in the dishwasher. These glass espresso cups would make a great gift on their own or as part of a themed gift basket. They work great, they are priced great- what more could you ask for!

Very Cute Little Mugs
These are cute little espresso mugs that I got because I wanted something nice to use with the espresso machine at work. I think the only real flaw that these have is that the handle is barely large enough to fit a finger through, but honestly it’s not that big of a deal since they’re tiny anyhow. These do remind me of very similar glass cups that are available at Daiso, so I’m not sure if they’re worth $20 for just two of them, but I think they’re nice if you don’t mind spending that.

Lovely espresso glasses
I had to look up what borosilicate glass was and discovered it was glass made from materials that will stand up to extreme temperatures, which is good for espresso. These are stackable as shown to save space beside the espresso machine. And they gleam like they are made from fine crystal rather than mere glass. Great glasses for enjoying espresso.

Cool!
The glass itself feels very fragile but I like it. It is cute in a way. They are very small. They function very well and do the job right. They are easy to clean and to store. Just donât bump it into other cups or smack it on the table because they are very light and fragile.

They’re O.K.
This Stackable Espresso Set contains two 4.3 oz borosilicate cups. They’re disarmingly lightweight due to being borosilicate and not glass. I realize that borosilicate is a stronger material and withstands heat better, but there’s something weird about your espresso or cappuccino sipped from a cup lighter than your coffee spoon. These stacking cups are fine, look nice and do the job. I’m removing a star for aesthetics, which is a personal preference.

Classy
These cups are a joy to use, and if you are new at making espresso, being able to see the pour is very helpful. I also like the fact that these glasses are stackable.

Great espresso cups!
These espresso cups are so cute! They are the perfect size for a homemade cortado. Theyâre well made, not flimsy, and look more expensive than they are. Highly recommend!

Feel Very Cheap
Espresso is already a very expensive hobby and not the most practical way to make coffee at home. If you’ve already invested in the machine, why skimp on the cups? These cups aren’t a bargain; they feel exactly as cheap as their price. Out of the box, these cups seemed so thin delicate I had to double check they were glass and not acrylic. They felt like they’d break picking them up. The glass measures just under 2mm in thickness which is a full mm thinner than our nicer glassware and 5mm than our coffee mugs. They claim to be borosilicate glass, but we’ll see if they actually hold up to regular use. These cups lack the weight of other espresso cups, but maybe that’s a positive for espresso cups because of the small handles. One positive is the handle is a full 11mm wide, so I can get the tip of my finger into it and actually have a firm grip, rather than pinching the handle like some espresso cups. The only reason I didn’t give these one star is because they stack together saving space in my cabinets and they are pretty cheap. I don’t regularly drink straight espresso, so I only got these to serve the occasional guest that does. I thought they’d be nicer than serving it in our smallest coffee cup, but they feel so cheap I think I’ll be too embarrassed to serve a guest with them.
