I use this for loose tea and unlike other tea filters this one is especially fine so no particles get through except if there is powder in the blend like turmeric, but that would be expected. If I could change one thing it would be wider wings off the sides because I do have a mug or two with a wider lip where it slips a little. Overall I am pleased. The little steeper hat/ catcher is so convenient. I can take my tea wherever I please while it steeps, pull it out when itâs ready and set it down beside me. Easy and clean. I noticed while searching for this product other steepers with rubber or plastic coating on the metal & while I did not want the coating after using this for a few months I realize why it would be a nice feature. The metal is very hot, so you have to be careful when lifting the steeping cap off, pulling the steeper out of your mug once itâs been sitting in hot water, and what surface you set it down on.

Changed my tea game for the better
I love this tea infuser by Vahdam. It really upped my tea game. Now I buy loose tea and drop a teaspoon of black tea into the infuser, set it in my mug and fill with boiling water. 4 minutes later, lift out the infuser, set it on the handy lid, and perfect tea. Buying loose tea me saves money. A green scrubby sponge and sink sprayer gets all the little particles out – no worries. This is going to be stocking stuffer and gift basket regular. Love it!

Beautiful and practical tool
I have only used this product for brewing teas and tisanes. I chose it because it has a very fine mesh, no plastic parts, and resembles an infuser my sister has that I really like.I have found that it works beautifully for brewing in a mug. The water pours through easily and quickly, so it’s easy to tell when you’ve reached the top, and it lets only the very smallest bits pass through the mesh. The metal handles – which also hold the infuser on the cup rim – do not seem to get hot, so it’s easy to remove the infuser when steeping is done.I have not tried this infuser for brewing a whole pot of tea; I’m not 100% sure it would be big enough for that.My only complaint is, that when I tried to clean the inside with a bottle brush, the bristles caught in the holes and seams and actually pulled out of the brush, so I had to remove those from the infuser afterwards (and trim the brush of partially-pulled bristles). However, I don’t consider this cleaning method to be particularly necessary, as the leaves wash or rinse out easily without any tool.Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase!

For years I had used my Grandmother’s infuser. It is very old, as in more than 50 years. The holes in it are big enough that too many particles seep out. I had been looking for something to replace it with. This came up while I was searching in teas. I am extremely happy with it. It cleans easily. I no longer have particulates in my tea. You can use it for making a pot of tea or a cup of tea. It sits nicely in either. I did find that pouring the water over the tea and then putting the lid on to allow it to steep works much better versus pouring the water into the pot, then adding the infuser. I have since purchased another for my mother.

It works wonderfully. Steeps tea and coffee well. Can sit in just about any mug. Works perfectly in regular mason jar. My favorite feature is it is easy to clean.

Exquisite quality but top doesn’t stay on
This strainer is amazing looking. They must have used a laser to drill the hundreds (thousands ?) of miniscule holes.I bought this tea strainer because I didn’t want to have to buy “cold brew” tea bags. I’m not a hot tea drinker. I like my tea cold with ice and fresh lemon juice. So it seems like a waste of energy to boil water and then make it cold again.I figured with this strainer I could drop in it a pitcher of water. But the top just rests loosely on the strainer. No doubt it would come loose in the pitcher, and the tea would float around.The first batch I made, I held the top on with a rubber band. It worked but I don’t like the idea of rubber in my tea. I will try nylon thread.I believe this strainer was designed to sit in a cup of hot water. Probably works fine for that.

Auf der Suche nach einem Sieb für eine einzelne Tasse Tee bin ich auf dieses gestoÃen. Das Sieb überzeugt voll und ganz. Es ist stabil, gut verarbeitet und lässt sich mit wenigen Handgriffen reinigen. Der zugehörige Deckel hält nicht zu 100%, was mich allerdings nicht weiter stört.Ob es auch für die Thermoskanne verwendet werden kann, ist definitiv modellabhängig.
