This is one of the less expensive matcha powders and it’s better than many that are more expensive … but not as good as super-premium ones. The color of a nice verdant green â I’ve seen some that are way more olive/brown and some that are a bit more green… again, good but not great. This is a recurring theme of the review â but again, it’s under $2/oz. The flavor has a slightly bitter taste (and a tiny bit “fishy” as it should be), but missing some of the top notes (grassy, herby, fresh) that other nice ones can have. All in all, a good bargain, especially for baking or blending.
