Very pretty and works great!
I recently dealt with a power outage for several days due to a hurricane. I had 3 different types of coffee pots on my counter, and not one was usable! Instant coffee? Yuck! I was reminded of a French Coffee Press by a friend, and immediately ordered one. I love the look of this one with the copper colored metal. Not sure how long the copper will stay pretty but it looks good now. I do not have a coffee grinder, and did not order coffee beans so I tried it out with ground coffee that I had in my pantry. It was amazing. I’m not sure the reason that others struggled with too many grounds in their cup. The coffee I used was actually pretty finely ground, and it didn’t have that problem at all. If you’re following the process well, it should work like a charm, and you will have a amazing cup of coffee for your efforts. The price is also pretty reasonable. Very pleased with my purchase!

Great Looking press for the price
I liked the size as it is a smaller size that I find perfect for my 14 oz coffee cup. It is glass container with a copper finish on the outer metal container and top. It has double strainers that ,makes the filtering when pouring very efficient. In other words no coffee grounds in my coffee cup. It is easy to clean when using a bottle brush, as the glass container is a small diameter. However that is a minor inconvenience, and I highly recommend this French press for two cup usage.

Easy to use
I ordered this because of wanting my coffee fix during a 4-hour power outage; while I was able to sorta-kinda make coffee (crush beans in a mortar-and-pestle then soak the grounds in a tied-up coffee filter), I wanted something better and remembered these existed.
When the box arrived I discovered that I’d accidentally ordered the smaller 21 oz version – that was a little disconcerting – but it’s rather cute.
* The instructions ridiculously claims that it can make 8 cups of coffee – dude, it can barely make two mugs – but it does make good coffee.
* It filters really well and I haven’t gotten any coffee grounds in my mug when the coffee is ground coarse (as instructed).
* Easy to clean, too – pretty much pull out the plunger and rinse it off under the tap (let the pot itself cool if you’re going to rinse/wash it in cold water or it may crack).
* Very good method for making coffee without electricity – I’d also recommend a simple manual coffee grinder.
* The press doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the glass because there needs to be space for the coffee grounds – I saw people complaining about that but they’re being illogical.

Filters your coffee with two screens
The copper press looks smart on the counter.This company makes other styles.Take a look. On the side of the glass container the oz and ml are listed. Although you can remove the glass from the holder;by loosening the screw at the handle ;you can put the glass container in the dishwasher. I prefer to wash the glass by hand without removing it. The handle feels like wood but is a plastic composite. It holds the temperature nicely and seems well constructed. Enjoy your coffee!

Cheap! Easy to use. Easy to clean. I think it definitely tastes better over my normal drip, even using the same grounds. This was my first foray into French Press and it is fantastic. Bit of a learning curve to do French Press in general, but I did research before it showed so it was easy enough. If you wanted to give French Press a try, canât really beat this.

Je suis cependant un peu déçu que le couvercle soit en plastique malgré un colori qui imite parfaitement le métal des pieds. Ce qui fait qu’en terme de robustesse j’ai quelques doutes sur la longévité de ce couvercle, à voir.
