Professional Cafe Nitro Brew At Home
I freaking love this thing. The Zulay 64 ounce Nitro Brew keg is fantastic. Very well-built, top quality, and easier to use than I expected. I use the 8 gram nitrous oxide canisters to charge it which enhances the natural sweetness of the coffee compared to standard nitrogen. Although standard nitrogen does produce smaller micro-bubbles, the difference in micro-bubble size compared to using nitrous oxide (N2O) is not significantly noticeable to me.It arrived yesterday and I just pulled my first nitro brew from a cold brew I made last night and it has a much better quality texture and better flavor than any nitro brew Iâve ever gotten from any coffee house or café.Additionally, overtime it saves money because itâs much less expensive to buy whole bean coffee (I use Lavazza imported from Italy) and make your own cold brew at home with a cold brew maker, pour it into the Zulay nitro brew keg, charge it with your preferred nitrogen or nitro oxide gas, shake it for 15 seconds, allow it to rest in the refrigerator for an hour, take it out, give it one final 15 second shake, and pour yourself the best nitro brew youâve ever had. I love it.

I love love love this nitro keg! Iâve had it for months and use it every day. I purposely waited several months before reviewing it because I knew there could be a learning curve.For me, the biggest learning curve was how to perfect my home made cold brew. Using the tank is pretty easy compared to that.Itâs important to make sure youâre not putting more than 48oz of liquid in it. Once the nitro has been added, make sure to cover the nozzle with the included cap. If you twist it firmly on, it wonât come off on its own, and the nozzle wonât leak.Last bit of helpful information is that itâs important to shake it for a full 15 seconds before each use. It really helps distribute the nitrogen that way.I 100% recommend the Zulay cold brew nitro keg!

Does not work as described, leaks constantly, and wastes coffee.
I love how the coffee this produces tastes, it’s the best flavor I can imagine. However the entire keg leaks out of the tap while I have it sitting in my fridge so I can only brew one cup of coffee from the keg, and coffee leaks out while I wait the hour for it to brew. The coffee will constantly drip from the part of the faucet which came pre-assembled. This is while using the recommended two 2g-N2 cartridges and much less than 48 oz of coffee made from my Zulay cold brew carafe.I want to give this 5 stars because I would love to have a nitro coffee daily but currently this takes longer than one hour to brew a nitro cup of coffee all while it leaks due to the pressure. Keeping coffee in my fridge overnight for the next day is impossible because it will all leak out of the keg before the next morning.

Home DIY coffee nitro brew!
I love love love this thing! I made sure when I assembled it to get all the fittings on tight so it wouldn’t leak. I can make cold brew coffee and infuse it with NOS and it keeps the pressure for many days until I use up all the coffee. Highly recommended!

First one leaked all the nitro out, but replacement is working good so far
Returned the first one because it leaked, the replacement is working well. Components seem well made, and you get a lot f extra gaskets, brushes, etc. Would be nice if the manual did a better job explaining how to clean and replace gaskets. Also, highly recommend Nitrous Oxide cartridges over Nitrous cartridges for the best crema–so owenr’s manual.

Great Coffee!!
This little brewer is fantastic! Weâre going thru 48 oz Stok and Starbucks cold brew bottles like never before. The nitro brew is sweet and creamy without adding anything to it. We do like adding some sugar free-syrups and I had to change my subscription for Torani hazelnut because I ran out early. If youâve ever had Nitro brew, this machine makes it as good or better than store-bought. Easy to set up and refill. Recommend bundling the N2 cartridges- youâre going to need them!
