I use these to store freshly roasted coffee. I roast a lot, and my wife and I drink a lot, of coffee. I had an odd assortment of different containers that I was using. They occupied way too much space on the counter. I was a little hesitant at first about price, as I was buying five of these – and we got the other containers at discount stores. But I am so glad I went with these. They are beautiful and classy. The glass is clear and high quality. The tops are beautiful bamboo, and are sturdy and seal really well. Now I have a ton more room on my counter and I can showcase my freshly roasted coffee. Perhaps more importantly, I can keep an eye on the bean levels so that I can start roasting again without any disruption in the flow of caffeine. Highly, highly recommend.

I bought 2 of these. These containers are the perfect size for my kosher salt and ground coffee. Itâs an airtight container. Itâs a wide mouth so itâs easy to access the food in the amount I need without any hassle. And itâs pretty and I leave it on my counter. Itâs not too big or too small and this container feels sturdy. Pros: slim-line cylindrical shape allows for important space saver; lid is air tight, bamboo looks nice and natural; holds my coffee beans in qty that is common for the quantity I buy; nice to display content, long warranty.Con, seems fragile and I break stuff like that easily ðð. Lets hope i keep this a year; inside the box was an offer to âget a free jarâ ….didnt turn out to be true, its all social media bs.Recommendation: For coffee which is light sensitive, this would do better with a tinted glass.

Nice, thick glass
Took a while to find real-world physical dimensions of such products, and this one fit the bill for my use nicely. I’m using it with my Mueller burr coffee grinder.The grinder shipped with a plastic collection cup, which proved to be very messy due to static generated during the grind process. Grinds would fly all over, regardless of what I tried to mitigate the situation. After using a Pyrex glass measuring cup, I found the static problem all but disappeared, so I figured a scientific beaker would be great due to having no handle. Alas, beakers apparently are of size proportions not suitable for this particular use.So I poked around some more and found this.It’s of a perfect size dimensionally, eliminates the static issue, and doesn’t put a measuring cup out of service for normal function in my kitchen. The lid has been discarded, as it’s of no use to my situation, while I’m pleased with the dimensions and durability of this glass jar. The glass is thick enough to be considered not fragile, is a great size for my use, and didn’t cost a wad of cash. And cleanup is as simple as it gets: toss it in the dishwasher with other glasses and mugs.This one is a solid win for my purposes.

The reason why this jar is an absolute no no for buying:- i ordered round cylinderical shape and got this weird oval square shape- the lid does not fit and align properly with the glass jar- air lock is fair but not strong enough- the glass at the bottom of the jar is distorted in shape implying a defective piece.

Das Glas kam sehr gut verpackt an und machte schon beim Auspacken einen guten und stabilen Eindruck. Bei uns wird es für Kaffeebohnen verwendet. Der Deckel schlieÃt dicht ab und die Bohnen behalten so ihr Aroma. Durch die tolle Optik lässt sich das Vorratsglas auch problemlos offen hinstellen und es wirkt auch super als Dekoobjekt.
