    Questionable design
As I make a lot of loose leaf teas at home, having a French press definitely helps with straining out the tea leaves from the brewed tea. It makes it so that I don’t have to get my tea colander out. I love how the coffee press is made with a glass material on the inside so that the flavor of the tea/coffee brewed does not get altered. The glass is a bit hard to reach in to clean. However, this is dishwasher safe so that is what I personally do. It is worth mentioning that the lid and the other shell is made with plastic, so having hot liquid touch plastics is never a good idea and is a questionable design choice here. The milk frother works perfectly for when I am a bit lazy to use my chasen to whisk my matcha when I prepare a matcha latte. The frother requires two AA batteries that are not included. I do wish this was rechargeable instead so I don’t have to keep purchasing batteries for this. The design of this milk frother could also be improved as the metal frother part should be detachable so it can be put in the dishwasher for convenience when cleaning. There is a switch to turn it on so operation is easy to use. There are no markings or logos to indicate this is from the Tasty brand, which I wish it did so that it does not look like just any generically made kitchen gadget.

An essential part of my morning routine
Our coffee maker died and I’m the only one in the house who drinks coffee, so it felt wasteful to buy another one. I wanted something that would let me be more involved in the ritual of the coffee, if that makes sense, so I decided this was my moment to invest in a French press. I’ve had a blast reading up on the best way to brew coffee in a press (let it bloom!) and getting bougie about my morning routine. The milk frother has been really fun too. I actually don’t take milk in my coffee, but I use the frother to make my kids decadent, foamy hot chocolate on cold nights. They love it and so do I. Bringing some fun intentionality to our hot bevvies!

    good press for the price
I make cold brew coffee most days and I got this coffee press because I was tired of trying to strain the coffee grounds after “brewing.” The product pics are pretty accurate, the press came well-packaged (albeit with a somewhat odd suggestion that I use their products to create viral social media posts 😀 ). The inner (clear) coffee press container is glass, the outer (opaque) portions are plastic, the press is metal. Since I’ve been trying to avoid using plastic, I appreciate that the sections that come into contact with the coffee are glass or metal. IMO the product is more aqua than the product pictures indicate – I think it’s a very pretty color, but keep in mind it is pastel blueish-green if you were looking at the pictures and thinking it was white. I just got through drinking the coffee I made using this press and I’m happy to report that it did a good job straining the particles of coffee. My one minor complaint about the press is that the plunger depresses by itself in a matter of minutes. This is mostly relevant to people who, like me, are using this press to make cold brew since if you’re making hot coffee you won’t be leaving the coffee for very long before depressing the plunger. I will probably not use the milk foamer very often, but I tested it just for the sake of this review and it worked as expected. Make sure your glass isn’t too full or milk will fly everywhere, but that’s been my experience with other milk foamers as well. In conclusion, I’m pleased with this press – it’s not the highest end one I’ve ever seen, but it’s priced very well and does everything I was hoping it would.

    Tiny Tiny Press
4.5 cups? Not quite. At first I was somewhat disappointed in the size, but now I realize it’s perfect for travel IF you don’t want to bother with picking up a cup o’ Joe from your favorite purveyor of precious bean juice, or there’s not one near you, AND hot water IS available. And so, it will likely not replace your daily press, or become your first, but it has its uses.Haven’t tried the frother..cool bonus, hopefully functional. Yes, the thin plastic gives cheapy vibes but again, it’s not meant for everyday use imo.

    Cute but damaged
Cute coffee press but the plastic casing had melted in manufacturing in one spot. This was not shipping damage but damage that should have been noticed at factory. Returned.

Good, affordable French press. The coffee is tastier than the same coffee brewed in my Keurig.
This does make wonderful coffee, no doubt about that. It is easy to use and the only thing I wish was that there were measurements on the glass cylinder. It’s hard to gauge how much water to add to the coffee initially. I had to hunt down a measuring pitcher so I could see how much water to add for 1 cup. Not a huge deal, but I’m a bit strange in the way I like exact amounts. It is easy to clean, minus the plunger. The metal filter gets grounds stuck in-between the layers. I used a crevice brush and that finally (mostly) cleaned all the grounds trapped. The cost is very good. I’ve been wanting one for a while but refuse to pay $20 when I already had invested in a keurig k-cup machine. Different beast obviously, and for loose coffee I use a reusable pod. The coffee from the French press is a lot richer and flavorful in comparison so worth the extra minutes.I was surprised and impressed how there were no grounds in my coffee at all.The frother works well. It requires 2 AA batteries. I used rechargeable batteries. It does splash quite a bit, and I’ve since tried to remember to turn it on while in the coffee. I do the same using my hand mixer (naturally a huge mess ensues) and you figure I would have learned by now. Sigh.To be honest, it doesn’t make a huge difference when it comes to the coffee whether frothed or unfrothed. The bubbles fade quickly and the texture is the same. Maybe frothing hot cream/milk beforehand would make a difference. I just don’t have the time for that extra step. All in all, an excellent price, it works as it should and the quality seems good.
