If you truly need a case that includes all these accessories, scale takes AAA batteries
This does feel a fair bit overpriced, even though all-in-one kits usually are. I wouldn’t pay more than maybe $12 for any one of the pieces of this, but they all work together. If you truly need all of these items and you need them in a case that’s approximately 14″ by 14″ by 6.5″ and isn’t packed quite well enough or compactly enough for a backpacking adventure, then this isn’t a bad kit.The straps that are meant to hold everything into the holes are made of faux leather and they’re alright but again, they definitely wouldn’t suffice for a long-distance backpacking adventure.I really wasn’t a fan of the scent puck that was included in the kit and made the case and everything in it smell strongly like perfume, though. That made me really hesitant to use it without significant hand-washing beforehand. It works for small amounts of coffee – the max amount of water that the steel goose neck kettle (which they call a coffee pot on the box for some reason) can hold is 600 ml, and the amount of coffee that you can make at once is less as a result, plus the other containers don’t hold that much, and the instructions tell you how to make exactly 1.5 US cups of coffee at a time.I wouldn’t say it has a cheap feel, but some of the things like the scale with its “TARE” button (I don’t know what language that is), the coffee ground grinder with its mostly-plastic construction and plastic grinding wheels, and plastic spoon, definitely wouldn’t have warranted a separate purchase.Overall, if you really need all of these things and you need a case that they all are designed to fit into, this isn’t a bad option. But, if you want a custom experience making coffee and you’re willing to spend more, you can probably choose your own parts and pieces and end up happier than you would be with a custom-made kit like this.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not mince words. I write exactly what I think about things – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn’t hold up as expected.

    Just ok
it’s somehow bulky and undersized at the same time. The components feel more like $30-$40 quality. It’s touted as being a traveling coffee making set, but anybody who regularly has coffee already has better components at home. But if you’re traveling, where would you be traveling that you can’t get a cup of coffee? My only guess is camping or something. It is not camping quality nor is it compact.Like it has a manual coffee grinder that is tiny actually use it because I have an electric one and also most people buy their coffee already ground if you are too fancy for pre-ground coffee set isn’t going to be up to snuff for your standards anyway. And then the kettle only holds like a regular mug worth of water. I also didn’t use the kettle because I’m not about to stick that on my burner at home when I can just boil some water normally. Its also not really designed to boil the water in, so what’s the point of pouring hot water into it?The mug is tiny and that’s fine if you’re into tiny cups of coffee but I’m not. The component, I actually wanted which sits on top of the mug and holds the filter so that you can just pour the hot water through the grounds directly into your cup works fine.I think that it would probably work for any mug. I haven’t had a problem with it, but it does feel like cheaper plastic. It survived my dishwasher and it’s working great though. It comes with a generous amount of filters that are also a standard size that you can buy more of at any grocery store. I just honestly can’t think of a time and place that anyone would want this whole set.Camping makes sense, but the whole set in its case is bigger than a shoebox and makes 4? oz of coffee.

    Great Set
I LOVE this pour over set! Amazed at the quality of the materials in this set and super simple to work with. If you are looking for a great set for yourself or to give as a gift, this is fun. Comes with everything you could possibly need, carefully packaged in its own suitcase though I probably will never travel with the entire thing. But hey, the suitcase is fun! Following the clear directions included results in a wonderful delicious cup of coffee.

    Wonderful travel set
Over the years, I have been able to test a few coffee sets for the road and for home. This set is a wonderful set up for the person who travels (either hotel to hotel or in the tiny, van style homes). The set up is easy to use and the storage container is firm, sturdy and well made. The storage container holds each item securely and pads them while traveling. The glassware is made very well and can be cleaned and maintain with little effort. While the grinder is manual, it is very easy to adjust and use for your style of coffee and tastes. Finally, the metal pot and scale are perfectly sized for two cups of coffee, and both are easy to use and maintain. This is a wonderful set, and I recommend this set to anyone who travels and wants a consistent way to bring their coffee tastes with them on the road.

I used this set and found it very good for making V60 coffee. It has everything I need. I used my grinder, which I already had in mind, and it worked perfectly with the set. Highly recommended!
