Works better than a spoon, but I’m not sure it will hold up for a frequent user like me.
I’ve developed a taste for macha and hojicha (if you’re not familiar with hojicha, but like macha, you might want to try out hojicha – roasted macha – to me tastes even better and is more economically priced), and I had been making my drinks with a spoon. But trying this, it does work a LOT better than a spoon. However having had it for a few days, I notice the bamboo strands are starting to cling together. Not a giant problem, but I’m really not sure how long it would last. I would eagerly try a synthetically made option.

Cheaper Than In Chinatown
Paid a visit to Chinatown in NYC. Daughter thought it would be a good place to buy a matcha whisk. They saw her coming. Prices were ridiculous. Purchased the SAME EXACT item here for half. Comes with a cute case. Does the job. A fun gift for any matcha loving person.

Good product, looks and does what it should. I went with this brand because of reviews on Amazon and decent price. Iâm only giving it 2 stars in the âeasy to cleanâ area because it grew mold about a week or little over a week after I received it. I was using the whisk about two or so times a day to mix my matcha tea powder. Iâd then rinse the whisk and then set it aside to air dry. Maybe Iâm using it too much….. ? Will buy another one, but am not sure if it will be from the same company or not.

Didn’t know I needed this until I bought it
I am fairly new to matcha. After suffering a bleeding ulcer and having to give up homemade lattes for 8 weeks I needed something with caffeine but less acidity than espresso. I started making matcha lattes instead and I fell in love with Jade Leaf Matcha Green Tea Powder for my drinks. Now I though it blended ok with a whisk, fork, or a ball whisk – but I was wrong. I bought this Bamboo Matcha whisk to see if there was any difference and there most certainly was. It blended the matcha without any issue and made it more frothy and smooth. I was so impressed with the difference I bought a second one so I could have one at work and one at the office. To be honest, I am not sure what you to with the spoon vs the scoop and I could care less as I am not doing a tea ceremony. I can use a measuring spoon to get the scoop of product but the specal whisk really makes a difference in the smoothness of flavor and the bending.My perfect Matcha latte is 1 cup whole hot (but not boiling) milk, 1 teaspoon Jade Leaf Matcha Green Tea Powder, 1 splenda, a few drops of almond extract. Mind you I am low sugar due to bariatric surgery, if not I would do honey instead of the splenda. This is so much better (and better for you) than the junk matcha they have at Starbucks.

I ordered this as a travel set… The spoon is small and the case for the whisk is perfect and both take up little to no room in luggage. Items got here 5 days early, which is always a good thing… Price is is pretty good as well

Really great and useful set for the value! I bought it two years ago and Iâm still using the spoon and whisk. I just rinse it under some hot water to clean it. Highly recommend!
