So much better!
I bought this to replace a loud, extremely messy grinder that was spewing coffee grounds everywhere. I just couldnât take it anymore! Not only is this grinder far superior in that aspect, itâs t much quieter too (for a burr grinderâbut come on, any grinder will be loud). I love that the hole the grounds come through is at the back of the collection cup. The previous one I had the hole at the top and the friction when pulling out the cup caused the grounds to fly everywhere. Very satisfied with this purchase especially for the price. There were no reviews so it was risky, but glad I took the chance.11/20/24–Update. I still love this coffee grinder, but I dropped the bin the grounds are collected in after grinding and it broke. I have been reaching out to Secura asking how to purchase a new one. They have not responded at all to the requests I filled out on their website, or my email. I am hoping they read reviews so they will respond to me. I hate to have buy another $50 grinder just because I broke a small part. If I have to, I won’t buy this brand again since there is no support.

I read more reviews on grinders then i care to admit and despite some negative reviews about this being messy with grounds(not accurate) i proceeded and after a month of daily ise can highly recommend. This has a conical burr grinder the best of your 3 options in grinders. As far as grinders go this is pretty quiet. The grounds are very consistent in size. It is easy and straight forward to use. If you are not carefull in putting the finish ground holder in place i guess you can get some ground fallout but not to degree of some of the exaggerated reviews. I liked the overall size of this unit it is shorter than most and more compact. Two minor items, nowhere in the instructions do they tell you what to set the grind number on for different type of brewers. Experiment and look at ground size and its not a big deal. I set mine on 15 for drip coffee maker and never change it. The other item is there is a small rectangle behind the grounds holder that is a shoot for dumping the grounds into the holder. If you donât clean that or give the unit a few gentle taps some grounds will stay in there and might be what some reviewers mess is all about but it is not a big deal. Overall i would purchase again. Good quality, good price, and compact size are its strong points.

I like the grind setting well but no matter how careful I am I always getting grinds in front of the machine and at the bottom of the holder.

Broke Within a Month
I purchased March 5th. It broke and stopped working April 10th. The price is cheap, reflective of the quality. Plan accordingly.
