Set for success!
After the first batch I brewed grew mold, the seller provided a replacement as well as additional kombucha starter tea. Apparently, there was an error on the recipe at the back of the product, which suggested diluting it too much. However, customer support reached out to me and provided useful tips and with the replacement I can brew delicious kombucha!Highly recommended product, highly reliable seller.Thank you!

Excellent product!! The real deal!
Got a very good product. I was very impressed with the packaging and glad it came in with a little bit of a starter fluid.. Followed the instructions and seven days later have myself very nice tasting kombucha. The new level of Scoby formed really well. This smell is identical to what I smelled in my childhood when I first encountered kombucha, making at my Grandparents house. LOVE IT!

It will come in a package that looks like itâs ready to explode ( be careful when you open the package). Very pleased with my scoby, Doby
This kombucha is easy to start. I already made my first batch and it tastes really good. I used Genmaicha tea and added mango to the second ferment in my bottle. Since my scoby has grown, my second batch of Brew is a whole gallon versus a quarter gallon the first batch produced.Update : I ordered another one of these for my mother and this one came totally dripping wet and Amazon won’t let me return it. So I’m out the money that I spent on it because if this has no liquid there’s no way that scoby is alive.

Very large and active SCOBYs
Ordered and received two packages. One was very swollen and the other partially swollen. I noticed some reviewers complaining about this but as a home brewer with 30 years experience let me assure you the the swelling is an indication of a healthy fermentation going on inside the packaging. The packing itself is excellent. There are three sealed and nested packages to minimize an accidental puncture during transport. The actual SCOBY and its starter tea are together in the innermost pack. The SCOBY is huge as advertised. I immediately started a batch and am extremely satisfied with the results.Highly recommended

2 bought, one moldy
Sadly one of the two I purchased ended up molding. Itâs the first time that has happened to me in many years of brewing. It was a greenish mold that grew on the top of the SCOBY. Had to ditch the gallon and start over. Not buying this one again. Seems like itâs an issue with these guys (next time I should read the reviews! ð )
