For over 500 years bamboo has been used to create the traditional Japanese tea whisk. Conventional metal whisks leave you with bitter tasting tea. We honor that tradition using high quality bamboo to create our authentic matcha tools. Bamboo is harder than maple wood, yet ultra lightweight, which makes it the perfect resource for our Matcha tools.
The set includes:
Matcha whisk, traditional scoop, matcha bowl, matcha powder caddy, ceramic whisk holder, tea cloth, tea cloth holder, scoop holder, matcha powder strainer and black bamboo tray. Our products do not include matcha powder.
First wipe the bowl clean. Use a bamboo scoop to take two or three scoops of matcha from matcha power caddy and sift it into the bowl.
Then pour the boiling water into the matcha bowl, mix the matcha powder and water with the whisk, and stir to create a fine and dense foam to taste the authentic matcha tea.
After enjoying the matcha tea, fill the matcha bowl with hot water, to clean whisk, and finally put it on the whisk holder to dry.

Beautiful and well made
I love the Japanese culture and wanted to start drinking matcha tea for its health benefits. I loved how this set has all of the pieces that you would need, including a tray to keep everything in one place! I also loved the green color of the little bowl and the whisk holder. The ceremonial bowl is attractive and the perfect size. It is very easy to whisk the powder in to create that wonderful foam on the top. If you are having difficulty doing this, I suggest looking up a video on YouTube because you do not need a bigger bowl. You don’t drink a huge cup of it, only 4-6 ounces of water are needed. Matcha tea is a grow on you flavor – it takes awhile to get used to the earthy flavor of it!! I also suggest doing your research on getting the matcha powder. This was one of the best sets that I found on Amazon and I am glad that I went with it!

High quality
I enjoyed this product mainly because of it’s high quality bowl and sifter stick. I’ve bought matcha kits in the past where the sticks start to peel and the bamboo ends up in your drink, not pleasant or safe. I could tell immediately that this is higher quality bamboo. Truly love the aesthetics. Not only is it useful, it also works great as a decoration on any side table in the house! Bought it twice, once as a gift!

Need to soak the whisk before use
We did not know you are supposed to soak the bamboo whisk in hot water each time before use, so all the bristles broke off in a few uses. Donât make the same mistake. Also wish the bowl had a spout on it, itâs very messy to pour. Not sure the use of the little duckâ¦ended up throwing away the tray, duck and towel and just use the bowl and whisk.

Great beginners set
This is a great set for beginners and has everything you need. The only thing that is slightly awkward at first is the bowl is a little small for whisking if youâve never done it before but you get the hang of it pretty quick. Everything is very good quality.
