We purchased this seed kit for our AeroGarden, and most are growing fine. Two of the pods haven’t sprouted yet, but we’re waiting to see what happens. We have purchased other pod kits before and they have grown fine, so I am not worried. Also, this company is great about replacing any pods that don’t sprout. A big plus!

Terrible packaging quality, 3/9 pods failed to grow
*** UPDATE 5/14/21 AFTER 77 DAYS: The 3 replacement mint pods sprouted and quickly died from not getting enough light. The chamomile grows very thick and the lavender doesnât seem to compete well. Overall, the flowers look very dramatic and are a nice touch. There is a slight scent of lavender left behind as well. Overall, Iâm happy with this set and will start it again sometime in the future.*** UPDATE 3/29/21 AFTER 21 DAYS: All 3 mint pods failed to grow. AeroGarden shipped replacements promptly, but still a disappointment with the extraordinary cost and guarantee.This was my second pot kit used in my AeroGarden Bounty Elite. The first kit was heirloom salad greens. Only had 7/9 pods sprout. Replacement pods for those two could not grow because they kept getting light blocked by the more mature pods. Like the previous kit, this pod kit arrived as pictured. Some pods were crushed, another was dismantled and I would imagine the possibility that some of the seeds have fallen out or wonât grow as guaranteed as a result of this. I honestly expect better packaging especially if paying $15-20 for $1-2 worth of seeds and plastic material. I will update once they start growing.

Mint like crazy!
Love this pack. Iâve only been planting two at a time because the plants get so big. I have a chamomile and a mint plant that are taking up the entire planter. Theyâve been going strong for about 6 months now and I just trim them back every now and then. My other plants enjoy the extra light and I enjoy some fresh hot tea. Win win!

Seed pods
Out of the six pods that I put in my plant holder two of them didnât grow. It said 21 days and Iâm going on 27 at this time. The others have all started sprouting out.

Lavender pods failed
I was so excited to get this kit for my aero garden. The mint and the chamomile did great, but all 3 lavender pods failed to sprout at all. Very disappointed considering the primary reason I bought this was for the lavender.

Everything sprouted then everything except the mint died. The mint grew like madd, and I enjoyed it.

This kit has been great. 100% germination rate.1) Mint: Took much longer to germinate than the label said it would, but now I have all the fresh mint I could ever want. This can really take over the garden, so keep trimming it back. I just clipped another big handful of mint this morning (not that I’m complaining).2) Chamomile: I was really looking forward to trying this one since fresh chamomile isn’t something I’ve seen available in my part of Ontario. It didn’t disappoint. New blossoms keep coming back as I clip them off.3) Lemon mint: This one does have a nice citrus twist, and the plants look great (long, dark green leaves with purple undersides).4) Lemon balm: Nice broad leaves, light citrus scent, no complaints.5) Lavender: This one got a little lanky, kind of falling all over the place. Just a few blossoms so far, but even the leaves smell great.Water: as with any fast growing plant, especially once the mint takes off, I’ve been having to top off the water every 2-3 days.After 5-6 months running, there are no signs of growth slowing down. I’ll have to buy another bottle of the plant food soon.

I like AreoGardens and the seed pod kits are easy to use. However, since getting my seed pod kits through Amazon Canada instead of directly from the US; I have been getting stale, expired products in the past. This time, I thought that I should bring it up and have added the photo of the expiry date. I ordered the product in November 2023 and the expiry date was October 2022. The Germination Date was October 2021. However, I planted all 9 pods and was surprised that they ended up all sprouting! Amazing!

I have purchase several of these now, and always something doesn’t grown. The dill, nothing, the lemon balm nothing, 2 tomato plants nothing. Disappointed in the cost vs growing ratio. What does grow is great, but hassle to start and nothing grows.

I ordered the fresh tea set because I wanted mint, so far two of the mints are duds, they didn’t sprout anything. I left them both in for two weeks and nothing. I even opened them to see what was inside and it seems like they didn’t even have seeds in them. I’m on my third pod and I’m hoping it does something. I wish I had read the reviews about them being duds…
