I have had the pleasure of enjoying this Vianté Cold Brew Coffee Maker for a month now, and itâs been a game-changer for my morning. Not only does it make delicious cold brew, but it makes it far faster than I had actually believed possible. For the price, this unit is absolutely worth it, in my opinion.Setting it up was a breeze â the instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go in no time. I carefully washed and sanitized all components that would directly touch the coffee ground or liquid and highly encourage new buyers to do the same as well. The water will go up to the float switch on the side of the motor, so clean an inch or two above that to be safe.The machine itself is sleek and compact, fitting perfectly on my kitchen counter without taking up too much space. It looks pretty neat too, which doesn’t hurt. Using it is incredibly straightforward: just add coffee grounds and water (you can also add ice to the inner chamber if you’d like a colder brew), press a button, and in 15-45 minutes (depending on your brew intensity preferences) you have refreshing iced coffee. The rechargeable battery is a fantastic feature, allowing me to use it anywhere without worrying about cords. I wouldn’t take it ‘on the go’ like they show in the product listing, but I do love being able to set it down without hunting a free outlet down.One of the most delightful aspects of the Vianté is watching it brew. The BPA-free glass container lets you see the entire process, and thereâs something mesmerizing about watching the coffee slowly infuse into the water. Itâs a small pleasure that makes the morning routine a bit more enjoyable.In terms of savings, this coffee maker has been a real money-saver. I used to spend a lot on iced coffee from cafes, but now I can make my own at home for a fraction of the cost. Good But Quirky
I have been using this exclusively for a couple weeks now, so obviously I like it more than I dislike it. However, there are some quirks I would want to know ahead of time I’ll try to explain.First off, the instructions are minimal. From experimenting, I found that mine works better with just using cold water and not adding any ice. The ice was just making a small cup, and seemed to be putting the glass parts in jeopardy. It seemed smarter and safer to add ice after, and then I realized I can make a cold brew concentrate with this device if I leave out the ice.I fill to just below the maximum fill line. I don’t have a scale to weigh out three grams of coffee, but put in three scoops of my usual course ground dark roast Sumatra. I let the contraption slowly submerge itself until I can push a seal together. Then, I run it for either the 45 or 90 minute cycle, which creates a sort of cold-brew concentrate, and I refrigerate that to make my iced coffees with. This works extremely well for me. However, even if the device is charged to 100%, I find the coffee maker shuts itself off randomly all of the time. So, I often have to just run it again and again until I get sick of doing that.Maybe I got a bunk unit. But it works for as long as it wants to, then shuts off.Clean up is quite a few steps, because each piece needs to be cleaned and dried, and the coffee grounds chamber and screens can be quite a chore.Still, I like the cold brew concentrate this machine is giving me for making iced lattes before walking the dog in the morning. I like that drink a lot. So, it is worth the oddities to me.So, I like it very much, and will miss it very much when it quits powering on, which I fear is where it is headed since it shuts off randomly anyhow. I don’t know if I can quite suggest it, but if they iron out the quirks, or if it turns out I just got a bunk unit, I would suggest it.

Very Cool — Excellent for Coffee and Tea!
This makes very good cold brew in a short time. It can make up to 25oz of cold brew coffee which lasts me a couple of days. I use 6-8oz of the cold brew cover over ice (I like coffee extra cold) and add some milk. It can be set up at night, then I can just add ice if I want in the morning and hit the start button while I am doing other things.I also use this to brew loose leaf tea that I like to drink cold, like fruit teas. Drinking them cold really brings out the flavor. I don’t have to brew hot tea and then add a lot of ice to drink it right away.I try to max out the amount each time to get the most out of the brew time and the cleanup. There are several parts to wash but if one is familiar with other popular press methods, this will be familiar. I try to be careful with big glass piece and the top part with the electronics since it can’t be turned upside down after brewing and the device is still wet.It takes a long time to charge, but it will run while you charge it, which is awesome. I have used it while connected to a power bank and it worked perfectly, so it could be used camping. Also, when you plug it into a power source, you can see how much battery is left.

This cold brew maker is a great option if you want quick iced coffee without waiting overnight. It brews in 15-45 minutes, depending on how strong you like it, and you can even pop it in the fridge for a longer, stronger brew. Itâs rechargeable, compact, and easy to use. Cleanup takes a bit of time, and it only makes about two cups at a time, but for fresh, customizable cold brew, itâs worth it. Works for tea, too, which is a nice bonus.
