1. Level 3-4.5 is enough for most applications.
2. The red light is not predictable when plug into the power. It is only predictable when keep the handle pressed down on bottom. This is a protection for sealer or it will burn out after several uses.
3.When the signal light is off automatically, keeping the handle pressed down for 2-3.5 seconds would get optimal results.Otherwise the sealing place will be not smooth.
4.Keep the sealer’s surface clean to avoid the oxidation of the residue which will reduce the life of the heat sealing strip.

1.Kindly pls reading Instruction manual carefully and To adjust the temperature that you need when using it for the first time.
2.Higher settings don’t necessarily always mean a stronger seal.We recommend starting low and gradually increasing your settings from 2.5-4.5 temperature grade for the different thick bags,it’s better don’t exceed 5 Grade temperature.
3.Do not use wet cloth to clean the surface of heat sealing strip,after 30 minutes of continuous use, try to let the machine rest about 5-10 minutes.
4.The sealing machine cannot be placed in where blankets, clothes, etc. That cannot dissipate heat. It is recommended to place it on the table top.
5.When using this machine in the summer, we recommend that the temperature be lowered by one level than in winter and keep an eye on the temperature of the bottom cover.
6.It’s better for sealing the PP,PE bags,but can’t cut the bags.

Easy to use. Great for the price.
Honestly this is a very solid build quality for the price. I really like it and it works great. Its just as advertised. If you are looking for a heat sealer that will get the job done and is adjustable. Then get this one. If youa re working with multiple different bags then I recommend a marker to mark the dial so you don’t forget the settings. It would be cool if it had a built in memory but I suppose then it wouldn’t be so cheap.

Easy to use
This heat sealer is very easy to use. Just plug it in, set the dial for the appropriate time, press down and wait for it to be done. Itâs a great price. I also like the size which enables me to seal different shrink wrap sizes from small to large. Doesnât take up much space on my workspace. Great Deal.

Broke after 1 hour of usage
I gave this 5 stars in ease of usage because… these things are very easy to use. Set the timer and push the top down. 5 stars for value for money because $20 is hard to beat for an impulse sealer. And it is lightweight, so 5 stars there. But I am giving it 1 star overall because this thing did not last the day. Out of the box it would not seal the larger poly bags I use. It gets hot enough, but the springs in the bar on top do not push down with enough force consistently to make a single uninterrupted seal line. The insides of this thing have shaken free and I no longer feel safe using it. I needed it in a pinch because my much more rugged and heavier (yeah, with these things the heavier the better) blew a fuse that was not immediately available. I have a lot of experience using impulse sealers for my business and this is junk. I know you are looking at the price and reading this review and you are on the fence because, well, the price and reviews and such, but I strongly suggest you not purchase this item.

Retired EE here. (Consider minor fixes far easier than schlepping anything to a return center)

CONS
Bar and body are 100% injection molded plastic. Worry about durability over time. (however the silicone rubber ‘sealing’ strip is mounted to solid aluminum rail which should never warp – good!)
Mine arrived ‘unusable’. Heater came on and timed out before fully lowering the bar to capture the bag to be sealed. In other words, while lowering the bar to secure the bag in position, the heater came on too early with over 1/2″ air gap between the sealing strip and the bag. I fixed it in 10 minutes. (see photos)
I did not contact anyone for replacement or refund because it was so easy for me to fix.
