Work like a charm! Better than steaming. Easier to clean
No more steaming milk for me! 20 seconds and it’s virtually self cleaning. It even came with two batteries so could use it right away.
If you are careful you can do this in a small cup but it’s really easy to accidentally slosh it out of a small cup. Also you can spray yourself if you lift it out while running. But these are not special to this model just to any whip like this.
Here’s my preferred way to make milk foam for a cappuccino:
Since you want the foam warm you have the choice of warming cold milk then whipping or whipping then warming it. Both work but cold milk whips faster and is more foamy. Furthermore if you microwave the foam it doubles in height and stiffens a bit.
Which is better is up to you: the stuffer foam doesn’t mix as fast with the coffee so if you like your cappacinos layers with foam resting on pure espresso when served this is better. But if you like it more like a well mixed latte with foam on top then warm the milk before you whip it.
I also discovered it enables a really special kind of hot chocolate. Normally you have to warm milk to get cocoa powder to dissolve. You don’t with this tool! Just add a teaspoon of cocoa powder to a third of a cup of milk and whip it in an oversized cup. Then microwave it. You end up with a firm cocoa dessert you can eat with a spoon. Or add more milk, stir and drink.
Pro tip: always put the whip at the very. Bottom of the cup and very center of the cup when you turn it on. Then adjust the height to maximize foam. Or move it towards the side to increase stirring. I like to to this in a pint glass because this foams up so much, especially if you microwave it, an oversized cup helps.
Clean up is easy, a quick dunk in water then turn it on in the sink walls to spin off the water. This is far easier than keeping the steamer wand in the espresso maker clean.

This is a great little whisk. Easy to use and gets the job done. I love the little stand it comes with. It also came with batteries- popped them in and it was ready to use!

Not a bad frother for the price
I bought this frother for making cold foam for coffee drinks and for mixing meal replacement powders in liquid. For this the little hand-held frother does a great job as long as you use a deep cup to prevent liquids from coming over the side. Because it is a powerful little unit is draws down the batteries quite quickly which is expensive and a downside in my opinion. The single on/off button is this unit’s biggest drawback. There is no speed control nor an ability to use a pulse-type setting. I would gladly pay double to have a rechargeable unit with speed control and a pulse option (personal preference). The stand is a nice plus though flimsy and far from stable causing it to tumble with a slightest bump or vibration. This unit is meeting my current needs and at a very reasonable purchase price. Only time will tell how reliable it is as I have noted one of the biggest complaints is a failed on/off switch after only having the unit for a few months.

Simple but effective
I don’t use this to froth my milk as I don’t drink milk in my coffee. I usually put my protein powder in my coffee and thats it. I always had a hard time getting it mixed in as it would clump up. This is the perfect tool to mix up the protein powder and I never have any issues with clumps again. This works great and I’m very happy with my purchase.

Ho anche l’areoccino della nespresso e, devo dire che non ne ero completamente soddisfatta.
Questo lo supera di gran lunga e, fa tanta schiuma.
L ho appena provato con il latte avena freddo e, lo trovo eccezionale e, acquistato a un ottimo prezzo di 10,99 euro, molto piu economico e valido dell’areoccino.
Arriva con batterie e, quindi portatile e comodo da potere utilizzare ovunque.
Non riempiere tutta la tazza in quanto e’ molto veloce e, fa molto schiuma, piu’ latte se lo si desidera, si può sempre poi aggiungere 😉
