Fresh Grounds for a Fresh Start!
I never thought I’d fall in love with an appliance, but here we are. The KRUPS Burr Grinder has become the MVP of my mornings, turning my groggy pre-coffee self into a caffeinated champion. It grinds like a pro, ensuring that my coffee is fresh, flavorful, and just the right consistency every single time. Honestly, it’s like having a barista in my kitchen—minus the man bun and ironic tattoos.Setup is a breeze. The settings are easy to adjust, whether you’re brewing a robust espresso or a smooth French press. It’s versatile, consistent, and, most importantly, quieter than my old grinder, which sounded like a jet engine warming up for takeoff. My neighbors are probably as grateful as I am.What I love most is how simple it is to clean. No more battling rogue coffee grounds that seem to appear out of thin air. KRUPS keeps the mess contained and my counters crumb-free, which is a small miracle in itself. If you’re a coffee enthusiast—or just someone who needs caffeine to humanize in the morning—this grinder is worth every penny. It’s dependable, efficient, and dare I say… grind-tastic. KRUPS has definitely upped my coffee game, and for that, I salute it (with a steaming mug of freshly ground coffee, of course).Bottom line: Buy it. Your taste buds (and sanity) will thank you. Cheers to fresh mornings and even fresher coffee! ☕✨

    A Great Inexpensive Burr Grinder!
I love the Krups Flat Burr Coffee Grinder with 17 grind settings, and I’m thrilled to have it again after owning one for 8 years! This grinder is fantastic for all types of coffee, from espresso to drip coffee, thanks to its wide range of grind settings. The 7oz airtight bean hopper ensures the beans stay fresh, and I never have to worry about overheating as I noticed with other grinders from reading their reviews. The ability to choose between 2 to 12 cups allows me to grind the perfect amount of coffee for any occasion, and the auto shut-off feature is incredibly convenient. The noise level is low-pitched and unlike others so it is not a nuisance. What I appreciate the most is how easy it is to clean and its compactness so it can be easily stored away in a cupboard as it measures under 10.5″ tall and less than 5″ wide. Keeps your kitchen counters less cluttered. Yes, it does not have the “static-free” receptacle but I think that is a bit gimmicky. In my opinion, I’m not so bothered by a little bit of coffee dust on my counter because inevitably you are still going to clean up. After 9 years of daily use, my previous Krups burr grinder still worked well, even though the on button had come loose — it was still operational. I had ordered a conical burr grinder as a replacement from a different company with an LED display; however, it malfunctioned from the beginning. That was a sign to stick with a simple yet reliable burr grinder I have known to enjoy over the years. Now, I’ve replaced it with the same Krups model as before because of its reliability and consistency in grind (see the espresso grind in my pictures). It’s easy to clean and comes with a compact brush. Plus, it’s very affordable on Amazon for all the features it offers. I highly recommend this grinder to any coffee lover!

Does a good job considering the price
I’m using this to grind coffee for my AeroPress coffee maker. The finest setting gets the job done, though I think that it lets through more large particles (boulders) than my JavaPresse hand mill (conical burr grinder). I’m definitely feeling less back pressure as I press the plunger. But I’m not noticing any decrease in the quality of the brew. I haven’t tried it in our Mr. Coffee espresso maker, but I feel that it is just a little too coarse to do well in that. Espresso makers rely more on pressure for extraction than the AeroPress does. The machine is a little noisy, but not to the point where it’s going to wake the whole house (like my Cooks blade grinder does, I was taking it outside it was so loud). It’s certainly more quiet than steaming milk. I’ve only been using the “2” cup setting and noticed that since the portion size is time-based (which it is very quick compared to using my blade grinder and especially compared to the hand mill) the portion size changes depending upon the grind size. Finer grinds more slowly, so you get less coffee on the same portion setting. This actually worked to my advantage as the most coarse setting on “2” cups gave 28g of coffee. Why these almost never come with a “1” cup setting is beyond me. But the finest grind gave only 18g of coffee, which is perfect for a single cup from my AeroPress (though maybe a bit much for other methods). The machine disassembles easily enough, which is good for 2 reasons. First, I don’t store my beans in the hopper (and like to switch between regular and decaf) and there’s always a bean or two stuck in the burrs. And second, keep the little brush (they really need a holder for it on the side of the machine, I use it every grind), you will use it unless you want a bunch of grounds in the chute getting stale. Especially on the finest setting, the static generated means that the chute is always clogged with grounds that I sweep out so that they don’t contaminate the next morning’s grind. I do find some grinds flying from the static, but I don’t know that you can entirely get away from that (grinding generates static, especially for fine grinds). It hasn’t been much of a problem, though I expect it will be worse in the drier winter air. All in all, I’m happy with the grinder. The price was right, it saves a ton of hand grinding, and produces a cup of coffee that is pretty much indistinguishable from one made with much more effort.

I’ve had the old style blade grinders and recently a burr hand grinder.I saw this on sale and grabbed it. Very happy with it. Easy to use and clean.Today I tried the handful of rice through it to clean for the first time and it worked great. I’ve put about 6 lbs of coffee beans through this in the 3 weeks I’ve had it and it seems that it should last a good long while.Overall very happy.

I don’t have much to compare it to, but this conical grinder is great for my wife and me. We use the finest setting for a mochi pot style coffee maker. Once we found the setting for the amount we need to make a pot we only have to hit one button every morning and it grinds the perfect amount of coffee for our use. The noise is ok, I can only compare to our old blade grinder and this is quieter.

Purchased this to replace the built in grinder on our coffee machine, this works better than the built in grinder ever did.
