Small enough for one or two cups.
I really like the boron glass it is made from and the pleasing shape. I favor the arrangement of the spout coming from side rather than from the top. It takes some attention to keep the top level so the tea does not spill out, but is is not necessary to invert the pot to empty it. The tea strainer is just right for the size of the pot. Suitable for teabags or loose tea.

It seems well made
So cuteIt’s scary to put it on high heat and then on the counter and such. It gives the impression that it’s gonna crack because I’m not used to using glass around heat, but it’s clearly well made. I always use my stove top on the highest setting to boil water quick, and I’ve had no signs of wear or tear. I’m always careful not to put it on the countertop if it’s wet though, I’ve heard of glass trays cracking that way. It’s looking like it’s gonna last a long time.Only downside is that the metal lid doesn’t fit snuggly, so it falls off if you tilt the kettle enough when you’re pouring.

Cute kettle
Cute glass kettle, just enough for a cup of tea with a built in strainer. It is fragile.. I like it

Great small teapot, but needs a better lid
I bought this teapot for personal use at work. I have had it for a week and I use it for both loose leaf and tea bags. I fill it with hot water from the hot water tap on the coffee maker and it works well enough. It pours easy and quick with no drip, way better than the French press I was previously using. The small size is perfect for brewing two tea bags or two servings of loose tea.Unlike other reviewers I have not had problems with the handle getting hot. Mine stays plenty cool. I’m guessing the ones that have had this issue all heated their water in the tea pot on a stove, which I don’t do.The metal tea basket has springy clips that hold it in place by friction. They hold well and the tea basket stays securely in place. The metal does transfer heat well so the basket gets hot and tends to burn your fingers a little when you go to remove it when the tea is done steeping. But I like the all-metal basket despite this because I don’t want plastic in my boiling hot water. The holes on the basket are very fine and it does filter the loose tea well. I haven’t had a problem with any bits of tea leaf getting into the tea.The lid is something I would love to change and is the reason for a four-star rating instead of five stars. The lid sits just inside the lip of the tea basket. This works fine when using the tea basket. But the lid won’t work when the basket is not in use. Without the basket the lid is too small and would just drop down into the teapot. This means that when I remove the basket after steeping my tea I have to immediately rinse the basket out and return it to the teapot if I want to continue using the lid. I would love to have a lid that works on the teapot whether or not the basket is being used.

A little glass teapot that really does the job
This is my second completely glass teapot, and I was so surprised that this can work on the stove top. But it works well⦠The other one I had was slightly smaller, and I had it for years before it finally cracked at the bottom, and I think that was probably partially my fault because there was once or maybe even twice when I forgot about it, and it burned completelydry and Iâm sure that weakened the glass! Donât ever walk away from it because that is one caveat, there is no whistle! This one is a little bit bigger, so it fits more water – but since I am really the only tea drinker in our empty-nester family, I think I would go back to the smaller one if I get another. The slightly larger size made it a little more unwieldy in picking up a hot glass pot.Thereâs also an insert if you want to put loose tea leaves in there, which works fine, but you have to fill the teapot up full for it to reach / submerge all of the leaves you have in there. I seldom use it for that. I also donât bother with the lid most of the time- I just take all of the metal out. It heats up fast.Overall, it is a win, and I also think it is attractive⦠Most importantly, I am a holistic Health Coach and I do not like the idea of having my water boiling and soaking in any kind of metal; I used one for years that even though it was stainless steel they are also partially nickel-based – and having my heavy metals tested, I found out that nickel was one of the high ones in my body. So I think glass is probably the cleanest way to go in terms of affecting My body.

One cup serving
Cute, small, enough for 2 cups. I like the all in one feature where you can put loose tea or even ur favorite tea bags . The only downfall is that the handle gets scolding hot . The handle should have something on it so that you can pour ur tea without using a pot holder .

Works great, handle doesnât get hot!
My wife was boiling water in a Teflon lined pot for use in a Neti pot. Ewww! So when I found this I bought it right away. It works great! And the handle does not even get hot when you boil the water.
