Precision manual coffee grinder, that looks good too.
Well-designed, almost old fashioned (remember when things were not made of plastic and had to last?). Comes in three pieces that you put together, adjust the settings, put in the beans, and out comes beautifully ground fresh coffee. There is something very satisfying about the ritual of using this grinder — you can feel the precision as the burrs are grinding up your coffee beans.

This is a MUST HAVE
I’ve been living for the past 2 years in a small RV with no electricity. My Coffee is VERY important to me. lol During my travels I visited The Gallery Coffee Shop in Munising Michigan, and the owner sold me on the superior flavor associated with Pour Over Coffee. I haven’t looked back. But part of the key is to use FRESH ground coffee for that full, delightful flavor, along with perfectly roasted beans. Yes, I’m that picky.I’ve used electric coffee grinders, but its difficult to measure the exact amount of beans necessary for a single serving, not to mention that during these extreme weather events, electrical grids are being maxed well beyond their capability. After reading multiple reviews, I finally settled on this hand grinder and I must say, its a golden ticket item. I will NEVER go back to anything else. This Burr is made extremely well. Its heavy duty. You can adjust the size of the grind from extremely fine to coarse, depending on your taste or even method of coffee prep. The grinding is easy. But best of all, there is a perfectly measured space for your beans to make the most perfect cup of coffee ever. Want it stronger or weaker, adjust the size of the grind. No more waste, no more guessing. If you are a coffee lover, or you need a gift for a coffee lover, This is a MUST HAVE!!! It is worth EVERY penny.I highly recommend that you also purchase a stainless steel goose neck kettle to target your pour. For the best flavor, you want to wet the grounds and let them effervesce for a moment to release the flavor before fully saturating them with the entire water quantity you will be using for your coffee.Go Forth and have the BEST coffee you will EVER make, EVERY SINGLE DAY> YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE!

Daily driver for at home, travel, and camping
I have used this grinder for several months and have been very pleased with the quality of build, materials, and the range of coffee grinds. I use this for fine grinds with espresso (6 clicks), and medium fine for pour-over/drip and french press (11-15 clicks depending on the brew method and coffee roast). I use a light spritz of water to tame any static, but I don’t see much retention of the ground coffee in general. It is easy clean and use. The threads on the bottom grounds hopper spin freely and do not bind.I have large hands, and I don’t have any problems using the grinder. I think if you have small hands, it might be difficult to hold and grind with finer grinds. The course knurled section is helpful to hold on to.I do not experience any binding or uneven grinding, and the two burrs appear to be inline with each other. I like the quality of the metal burrs.I purchased this unit for camping, travel, and home use, and it has performed well in all of those environments. It may be a bit “heavy” for camping, but I think it is worth it.It gives me access to espresso, but I wish there were finer steps/detentes/clicks to adjust the grind. As this was my first good grinder, I thought the price to quality ratio was what I was looking for. If I was doing serious espresso, I would like a little more granularity, but it does OK for my needs. The grinding chamber and grounds chamber hold about 20-22 grams of beans.

Form & Function
A great little grinder. It does take a few minutes to get the grind dialed in (I had to turn the knob more revolutions than expected). Once that is set all is well. Consistent day to day, elegant to have on the counter. I use it both at home and on the road. Solid construction, simple to clean.* Used nearly daily for a year and still love it. Feels rare these days to purchase a product online that is both functional & durable, with an aesthetically pleasing design.

Grinds well, but setting it right is confusing
Setting up the grinder the first time you use it is a bit confusing. You have to set the grind size before screwing together the two chambers, but when you twist the setting, it doesn’t look like it’s changing at all, and markings for the grind size are completely meaningless. I followed the guide and finally got it to work, but I was originally so certain the grinder came busted.I read other reviews who said they were lost as far as setting the grind size. I’m pretty sure I received a returned grinder because the box it came in had grease marks on it (see my pics). I almost returned it for that reason, but ended up keeping the grinder since I figure out how to use it properly. The grinder does grind fine for espresso and evenly enough for pour over (see my coffee grounds pic – the grounds are a bit coarser than I use for pour over). The grinder has good build to it. It’s solid metal and the handle rotates smoothly, though it sometimes squeaks. Overall it’s a decent enough hand grinder.

This product is falsely listed- it is made in China and listing said it is made in USA!!!!
I specifically spent the time to find a manual coffee grinder that isn’t made in China. I found this listing for West Coast Chef on Amazon that said it is made in the USA. Sure enough the product shows up and it is made in China. Quality seems okay but there was a scratch on the surface and I’m really pissed at being deceived on country of origin and will be returning it.

Where to start? Well I’m a complete noob when it comes to coffee culture and the last year I have really got into the hobby. After finding some fresh beans in my area I did some research into grinders and boy oh boy that was a rabbit hole I wish i didn’t go down. It got so intense I just decided on a simple hand grinder and this is the one I kept coming back to and eventually purchased. This thing is a beast. I bought this thing back in Nov of 2023 and it still grinds like day one. I grind on the finest setting because we mainly drink espresso and use a Moka Pot. It works beautifully. Nothing gets stuck or jammed in it, its super easy to clean with the awesome brush it comes with and it looks amazing in that matte black finish. I can’t go into the specs and details of the burrs because i’m not that smart about that stuff but just know that it gets the job done great. Now the handle took some getting used to because I felt like i was gonna break it from the strength i was putting into grinding. After a week i never thought about it again it just takes a bit of time to adjust to the feeling of manual grinding. I’ll tell you right now though if you are weak in your primary arm, in about a month you’ll feel yourself getting stronger and that is a side benefit I found out since i do it everyday and sometimes twice a day :)I really do recommend this for all novices who are entering the coffee hobby. Nothing feels better than smashing those beans to hell to get a nice cup of joe in the morning. Its become a routine for me and i truly enjoy every minute of it. I personally wouldn’t go any cheaper than this to start because then you might see some major quality issues which you can avoid completely by saving up just a bit for something like this or even better. Wonderful product, give it a try!

Except for the grip pattern (gentle and narrow), strong and solidly built. Big enough for one mug, ~12 oz, of coffee. It takes quite a bit of time to grind for pour-over makers (Hario, Kalita, Chemex).I am not a coffee fanatic. The grind setting is somewhere in the recommended range. I drank a sample. Good enough, so it stays there.I got this after two shipments of ground coffee (on subscription, since cancelled) were substituted for whole roasted beans. Leaving aside the matter of the freshness of beans, the ground coffee is as fresh as it can be since I grind beans while I boil water. The device is compact, in three pieces and a brush that I thought I would not use often. I have no desire to disassemble it. If it goes out of order, I will get another manual grinder.Much better than electric blade grinders I used to have. Clean and uniform grinding. The set stays up with the handle on it but I take it off lest I knock the grinder down.

El molino está muy bien manufacturado y los materiales se ven de muy buena calidad. La presentación en su caja está de lujo. Y funciona perfecto, se puede ajustar muy bien moler café muy fino para espresso y gradualmente ajustar el molido más grueso para café colado.
