Nice kit to experiment with
This is a nice little kit that allows you to experiment with designs on top of your made-from-home coffee. You’ll need a frother to make the milk you use foamy, but you get 16 different stencils to play with. The shaker could be used for cinnamon or really any powder you want to use to dust things, and the same can be said for the stencils. They will work on any dessert or confection you want to use them with. The materials are sturdy enough for their intended use and at the price point of less than $6, this is a great value.

Takes practice but fun!
The picture is of two hearts with an arrow, if you can’t make it out! I had fun, but had some challenges. First, we only have low calorie almond milk in the house. It turns out you can’t make froth unless there is some fat in the milk. Using an immersion blender I finally got some halfway respectable bubbles (nothing I would publish here). My first cup of coffee was not full enough, so when I added the froth it was too far down in the cup – my chocolate powder had too far to travel, making my design blurry. I tried pouring the coffee in a smaller cup and tried again, but this time the stencil was wider than the cup and the design didn’t fit! My first success was using the bigger cup, filling it nearly to the top with coffee, and for the froth I used cream (again, using the immersion blender). The kit also includes a “pen” which I won’t be trying for a bit… It’s a great project, highly recommend if you enjoy puttering in the kitchen.
