Nice Set of Canisters–Air Tight Subjective
These are shown to be used for coffee beans but when you look at the description, it has various pantry staples that you could store in these. I ultimately chose to store crackers and pretzels.The overall look of these is a nice, sleek design with a rich dark wood stained lid. There’s also an included scoop/spoon though I did not use it with the canisters, it is a lovely, smooth wood and the same color as the lids. These appear to be well made with the silicone ring matching the lid to create that seamless design.Now, as for the air tightness…..for me, these did not work so well. I will say, I live in a rather humid area so please keep that in mind. There’s definitely the chance of moisture entering every time I open the canister. However, I don’t believe enough would have entered for me to end up with the limp and stale snacks I ended up with.For the price they’re at now ($27 as of this review) I feel like you may wish to wait for a sale. If so, grab them but keep in mind they may work better in less humid environments.

Broke easily when putting the lid back on
Bought this on Oct 3rd, on Nov 5th the glass broke when I was putting the lid back on. Super fragile.Unfortunately, when I tried to ask for a replacement, the replacement policy is just for 30 days so I missed by 2 day.In a nutshell, lasted 32 days and it broke.

Als Kaffeeliebhaber kommt man mit einer Sorte Bohnen oft nicht aus, wenn man z.B. eine Filter- und eine Siebträgermaschine besitzt. Den Kaffee in den Tüten zu belassen, sieht nicht gut aus und ist nicht sehr aromaschonend und auch Blechdosen sind oft von fragwürdiger ästhetischer Qualität.Hier kommen die BOILMERIT Vorratsgläser ins Spiel, den sie machen den Kaffee nicht nur zu einem Genuss für Mund und Nase sondern auch für die Augen. Die Gläser aus hochwertigem und relativ unempfindlichem Borosilikatglas sehen mit dem perfekt abdichtenden Holzdeckel einfach gut aus. Natürlich können auch andere Lebensmittel sicher darin gelagert werden. Durch den mitgelieferten Holzzlöffel, dessen GröÃe auf eine Espressotasse ausgelegt ist, bietet sich die Verwendung für Kaffee natürlich an.Einziger Makel ist der doch nicht unbeträchtliche Preis. Dafür bekommt man aber auch zwei wirklich gut aussehende und hochwertige Gläser.

Die Gläser machen wirklich etwas her. Sie sind recht dickwandig und der Holzdeckel ist ebenfalls gut verarbeitet. Die Deckel sind so konzipiert, dass das Gummi nicht ganz in das Glas gedrückt werden kann. Das hat mich am Anfang etwas verrückt gemacht, da immer etwas Gummi absteht. Die Gläser sind aber dennoch luftdicht verschlossen. Für 15 Euro pro Glas darf man aber auch hohe Ansprüche haben und ich finde das etwas unschön. Daher der Stern Abzug. Ansonsten habe ich nichts zu bemängeln!

No smell, nice thick glass that feels that it will last, it’s not shatter-proof, so don’t ever let it fall, but it won’t break even when accidentally hit harder.The wood looks really nice, it’s sanded very well and it’s entirely from a single piece of wood without any glue, has no splinters nor uneven surfaces, the only issue I have with it is that there is not a single mention of which kind of wood is it, just that it’s high quality, I see it looks like it, but can’t they be more transparent, it begs the question why they aren’t, again, has no bad smell, so all is good.The silicone seal is not made perfectly in my opinion, I can see it’s not cut 100% precisely straight along the circumference, but it is not bad either, it’s about 95+% right, just saying, not an issue with me honestly.The seal is air-tight, the air flushes out whenever plugging the lid in.Satisfied, a very nice set.
