The quality and freshness was good. It arrived quickly. There is a slight bitterness, but not as much as most other coffee. And it smells great while brewing.

I have been a straight hazelnut coffee snob for decades, but the Hawaiian Hazelnut was sold, and I purchased this on a whim. All I can say, thank goodness I purchased 3 cans!!! I usually not a fan of anything vanilla, but the combination of the mild vanilla and a note of nut, gave we a wow look at my first sip. I also love the cost even in the midst of coffee price hikes!!!

This coffee was OK. I liked the hazelnut flavor. I found the coffee a bit more bitter than I like. Many people prefer this sort of roast, so I can’t really blame the coffee. I’d buy it in a pinch, if my usual brand isn’t available.

Delicious coffee!
We were obsessed with the hazelnut coffee pods for our Nespresso, but they were so expensive! We invested in refillable pods and tried this coffee, and we are absolutely thrilled! Now we are able to enjoy delicious hazelnut coffee at a fraction of the price that we were paying for the Nespresso machines pods!

We tried this brand as we could no longer get Melitta Hazelnut-Creme whole beans, either from the grocery stores or Amazon.ca. Don Francisco’s is a nice flavour (we mix it with a dark blend for just a hint of hazelnut) but it is roughly TWICE as expensive as the Melitta brand we had grown to love. While a definite option going forward, I am going to be looking for something a) available, and b) cheaper. Right now, Tim Horton’s Hazelnut flavour ground coffee is looking to be the front runner.
