Pleasantly Surprised!
I have only had and used this item a few times now, but I have to say I’m impressed. I wanted a replacement for my Vietnamese pour over that I had found a long time ago in a grocery store. I originally obtained it when I wanted to make a quick one-cup of coffee. But the drip rate is so slow, it’s really agonizing; it takes so long, the coffee is actually no longer hot by the time I can drink it. Needless to say, I gave up using it long ago. I figured by now, newer pour overs had to be better, and this one definitely is by leaps and bounds. Any of the other similar looking pour-overs (and there are many) are probably just as good, but this one was really well priced, so I took a chance to see. The drip rate is quick, and the coffee taste is excellent. I immediately wash it and hand dry it after use, which doesnât take long at all. So far, after several uses anyway, it has remained consistent in taste and ease of use. I will just have to see if it holds up over time.Update: March 17, 2024So it has been over two years now, and this pour over is still going. BUT, awhile back I found that the drip rate was slowing down until it was getting as slow as my previous pour over. I tried washing it with soap, soaking in vinegar, etc. but nothing worked. Then I found a link (sorry, I don’t have it any more) where a person pointed out that it was actually the oils that were clogging the filter, and that you can use a torch (I used my gas stove) to eliminate it. So I tried this: I removed my gas stove grate and center piece and slowly hovered the filter slowly over the flame to heat it up (use temperature grade gloves and be careful!). As the filter gets very hot, the oil will burn off and smoke quite a bit. I did this for a while until there wasn’t much smoke anymore. I did it on the inside and the outside of the filter. After it cooled, I rinsed it and it worked substantially better. Maybe not as good as new, but nearly so. I have had to do this periodically when it gets bad again. Note that the flame will stain the filter, but I personally don’t care about some discoloration. Still, a good deal after two years of daily use.

Amazing!
This might be the best $11 Iâve ever spent. I love to have afternoon coffee at work, but I do NOT love having a coffee maker in my office. This is absolutely perfect and the easiest way to make one cup of coffee. An easy to clean stainless steel filter is so much better than an expensive machine and expensive cups that are horrible for the environment. And the coffee tastes fantastic.

Works great, exactly what I needed
It’s nice and pours the coffee correctly. Good material as well. I think it will last long. It comes with a brush to clean it.

No handle, hot to touch. Can’t see under it while pouring.
No handle, hot to touch. Can’t see under it while pouring. Other than those two small issues, it’s a great pour-over filter.

easy cleaning
Works as expected. Rinses very easily with Folgers. High quality.

too slow
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but this filter takes way too long for the water to drip through. By the time it’s done, the coffee is cool and I need to microwave it. Going back to the paper filter until I find a better alternative.

Great for camping!
I bought this for a camping trip and now I use it every day! Not only does it look nice, itâs super easy to clean, easy to use, and makes the perfect coffee. The material is metal and the fine mesh doesnât allow even the smallest coffee ground through. Even high temperatures it held up. Worked exactly like it should. And then some.

Filters, coffee, slow enough to make a rich strong flavor
I was mainly concerned that the water would go through the whole thing too fast without really having a chance to work with the fine grind coffee grounds. As it turned out, it worked perfectly. I spent a good deal of time, looking at all the options and pick this one because I hoped it would be best with my fine grind coffee. My La Pavoni espresso machine unfortunately was it left on with not enough water in it and it burned out and I needed something to hold me over until I could get around to getting it fixed. This works so well I may not even bother getting it fixed.
