Eureka’s only high volume grinder, the Drogheria MCD4 impresses with its ability to continuously bulk grind up to 66 pounds an hour—without sacrificing the grind quality Eureka has become known for. Eureka Drogheria is a superb commercial coffee grinder that delivers beautiful consistent ground coffee, super accurate adjustment, ease of use, and unstoppable grind performance.

Stepless Micrometric Regulation System

Eureka’s micrometric system with infinite adjustment points, the only one based on the lower burr repositioning, promises incomparable grinding performance and allows maintenance operations without losing the grind setting. Patented by Eureka, it assures incomparable setting precision and saving of time and coffee.

Easy Setting System

The MCD4 features Eureka’s unique ‘Easy Setting’ grind adjust system. This system eases the grinding degree regulation by showing the whole range of grinding techniques: from Turkish to Moka, from Drip to French Press. This stepless setup adjusts from French press-coarse to Turkish-fine in one full revolution of the grind knob.

High Speed Maintenance

Since adjustments are made using the bottom burr, the top burr can be removed for cleaning without affecting the grind setting. So, you can go immediately back to grinding after giving the Drogheria a little spruce, if need be. The narrow base of the MCD4 makes it more manageable to set up than other bulk grinders—and gives the grinder a towering presence.

Blow Up System

This system is designed to remove all grinds from the Drogheria, making it a zero retention grinder. This is done by introducing an air flow mechanism into the grinding chamber. Conceived for specialty coffee, the mechanism generates an air flow able to clean the grinding chamber and grind all the coffee beans, without waste, for a perfect coffee in the cup.

All-Purpose grinder

The MCD4 is built for extended service life from the ground-up with a 750W motor meant for volume, 85mm flat burrs, and an outsized grind chute with bag clip for easy cleaning.

The Drogheria’s coffee bag clip keeps your bag in place for mess-free bulk grinding into a bag or container – while the chute is nice and high to accomodate large commercial coffee bags.

Aluminium body and base

There’s something magical about a purely utilitarian grinder. Everything from the power switch to the grind chute are excessively sturdy.

The Eureka Drogheria MCD4 retail grinder is an solid, high quality unit, in an area of the market with very few decent options. You either get cheap and very low quality, or very high end with an extreme cost. The Drogheria is a good balance of quality and cost. It’s minimal in design, heavy weight and very well built – and is simple to use and clean. Eureka may not have the profile of Mazzer or Simonelli, but it delivers way above it’s cost suggests.
