YouKnow, A person –
Surprised by this one
While this isn’t a 5-star coffee when compared to small batch private roasts, for it’s price it hit way above it weight class and is one of the better budget light roasts I’ve found on Amazon.First the only major con. The packaging is a bit cheap, the bag arrived containing a lot of air and looked like it might have been compromised. This immediately had me worried as Amazon isn’t known for having the freshest beans. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe the supply chain is particularly short on this coffee but the beans were fine and didn’t show too much oxidation. Although they were a bit dryer than I’d prefer to see. Speaking of the beans, I was pleasantly surprised with roast level. I often struggle finding true light roasts, particularly when buying more budget beans. These however were all the even, perfect level of roast, and ground into a nice red umber. During the pour over the beans off gassed quite a bit, again suggesting fairly fresh beans, given the light roast level. So far so good. The coffee brewed up with good body and a lot of natural sweetness. With a decent amount of apple like tartness but not so acidic as to be off putting. The flavor was nice but not super distinct. I got a bit of generic red fruit and maybe a bit of citrus.Overall, I’d say this is one of the hidden gems of the Amazon budget coffee market place and I’ll certainly be putting a bag in my rotation. At $10, for the subscription price, it blows away many similar coffees in the $15-$20 range.

Good coffee
It was fresh and roasted as advertised. Not my favorite but thatâs not the coffeeâs fault. Itâs quite drinkable and I enjoyed it but just not quite right for me.

This Colombian coffee is simply wonderful!
I love this Colombian coffee! I am a big coffee lover and if it is Colombian then it is known that they are the best in quality. I met him through the recommendation of some friends who consume and know a lot about the subject; I ordered it and the truth is it is completely delicious! I had to write it here because it’s actually wonderful! buy it, I recommend it with closed eyes!

Stale coffee beans
I received this product over the weekend, and it expires in 1 month. There’s absolutely no Aroma when you open up the package, indicating that it is far from fresh. The fact that it expires in one month of receiving it, means it’s been sitting somewhere in a warehouse losing its quality. Highly disappointed in this coffee! I would recommend purchasing from the seller.

Dubious Claims On Page, Tastes Fine, Not In My Budget, Many Errors Made Me LOL
NOTE: I ordered the 12oz bag of ground coffee, “light” roast [see my photo]While this coffee tastes as expected for Colombian coffee (one of my faves), I’m not sure about all the additional flavors or “notes” that are mentioned. I don’t have a mystical advanced palate so you’ll have to judge for yourself — although I do have a personal relationship with chocolate, and I can say I didn’t detect any chocolate flavor in this. It tastes like regular Colombian coffee to me.The errors on the page and on the product are breathtaking and sometimes funny (again, see my pic), but I’m not rating it for spelling errors. Unfortunately, any business in the world with a lot of errors looks less professional, but it doesn’t change the taste of the coffee.I am a bit concerned about the wild health claims made in their marketing. I hope people take them with a very tiny grain of salt, but I’m sure some will believe them. These kinds of claims really bother me.At about $20 (1.67/oz) when I ordered this little 12oz bag, it’s not the best value for me, even for Colombian coffee. It doesn’t fit our budget at all for how frequently we drink coffee for me to buy regularly.Between the lower value and the dubious claims, I’d like to give it 3 stars, but for the coffee itself I’ll give it 4 stars, even though I didn’t taste any additional flavors mentioned. That may just be me.
