Fantastic for bringing yogurt for lunch and avoiding plastic!
We are in a quest to avoid plastic touching food where we can, based on an article in Consumer Reports about the harms plastics cause. We used to use glass jars with plastic lids for the daily lunch yogurts, but after reading that article we wanted to try something different. We LOVE these tins – not one leak yet! And by letting the yogurt sit in the tin overnight in the fridge, the tin gets super cold and acts like its own ice pack during the day! We bought two of these tins, so one tin can be overnight in the fridge while the other tin air dries over night, because every night we hand wash the used tin with soap and water and let that tin air dry all night, while the other tin is in the fridge. These hold A LOT of yogurt, more than the glass jars, and I leave about two inches from the top, so that probably helps no leaks. First I layer blueberries in the bottom of the tin, then a generous amount of yogurt, then more blueberries. As said previously, no leaking issues & by having these in the fridge overnight it acts like itâs own ice pack! So this a healthy alternative to plastic, better for the environment too than the single serves. I hope this review has been useful to you!

For the cheapest stainless steel jars of this size i could find, I”m happy enough and I’d order more at a low price, but if you’re expecting perfection it won’t find it here. On one of them the lid now spins indefinitely but i can still easily unscrew it. And they aren’t super well finished. Both functional, both pretty solid, not water proof by any means. Not quality like Dalcini, more dollar store stainless steel.
