This grinder works well, but is flimsy
As manual coffee grinders go this is a good one, and worth the price. The only thing that would improve it is if it were made of heavier material. It fits nicely on a pint size, regular mouth Mason jar, and requires five hoppers full to fill the jar. If you like fresh ground coffee, and don’t mind a little manual labor, you should get one of these.

Good quality grind, very slow, feels flimsy
Pros: The grind size adjustment is great and stays set where you put it. The burr seems to be high quality and the grind is really consistent – quality of ground coffee you’d expect from a couple hundred dollar electric burr grinder.Cons: Very, very slow and the hopper size is way to small. I have to grind three hoppers full of beans to get enough grounds for a 12 cup percolator. The connection of the hopper to the jar ring feels flimsy – you can feel it moving while grinding so I suspect it won’t last a long time. I’m considering buying the large mouth version to get a bigger hopper, but I think the price is a bit steep for something that feels like it may not last so I’m going to wait and see how this small one holds up.

If you are a person with smaller hands maybe get a regular mouth jar connection. Very nice capabilities for different grind coarseness. Espresso very easy to do with whole beans from the freezer. Ignore instruction to clean with rice unless you buy rice with reduced arsenic content. I use water, air dry

Grinds coffee beans
I liked the concept of it screwing to a Mason jar,you could grind some extra beans ,and put a lid and ring on the jar to keep the coffee fresh,this was way to weak to hold up for grinding coffee,it would make a good spice mill ,but I had to send it back. It didn’t preform as described.

Great product
I grow my own kitchen herbs and needed a grinder as crushing them by hand just was not enough. This works great with a little push of the herbs into the lower area of the grinder but this isn’t exactly made for herbs, is it? It’s made for something heavier like coffee. Ohhh I bet this would be perfect when I need a lot of fresh ground peppercorns for Mediterranean dishes. I will have to try that next!In these pics and vid I am grinding my own Oregano. See the difference between the color of store bought (at the bottom) and my own just ground (top) Oregano?
