Say goodbye to Microplastics
Fantastic product. I had been using a drip coffee maker for the longest time. After learning about microplastics, I knew it was time to change to something safe. If you are not familiar with microplastics, I would recommend researching them. Essentially, when plastic comes into contact with hot water, small microparticles of plastic are released into the water. Well, as you can imagine, this happens with drip coffee makers that have plastic insides components.Being made of stainless steel and glass, this French Press protects you against microplastic contamination. Other than the obvious health benefits of not consuming small amount of plastic anymore, the taste of my coffee is so much better! A rich and bold fresh flavor is what to expect using a French Press. This press is made of quality stainless and is coated in a beautiful copper tone. I absolutely love the quality, color, price and ease of use with this product. I highly recommend.

This is a very nice press
I am not a big coffee drinker, but my wife is. She loves the flavor of coffee prepared in a French Press. We purchased an inexpensive one from a local big box store, and although it has served us well, I knew we needed to upgrade to a better press eventually. It was not until we visited my sister that I got to use this press for the first time. I was immediately impressed with how much nicer quality it was compared to the press we had, and simply put…it made a better cup of coffee. So upon returning from out trip, I located it on Amazon, and purchased it. I must say that this is a very nice press at any price. I really like the fact that the beaker is removable from the handle base for easy washing. I must admit, figuring out how to remove it took a little trial and error. I had tried pulling it from the top, or gripping the lip and trying to pull it out with no success. I finally figured out that even pressure is the key. I inserted my hand inside of it and spread my fingers, I gently pulled to remove it…and it came right out. I really like the quality of the plunger and the screens. I have yet to find grounds in the bottom of a cup of coffee I have made. The extra screens are a bonus as well. The little manual that came with the press was also very nice as well. If you are new to using a French press, this manual gives you the step by step instructions that you need to make a great cup of coffee. All in all, I am very pleased with the press, and the results we have gotten from it. The price paid for the quality of appliance we got is pretty remarkable. I recommend this press to anyone either looking to upgrade an older one, or for those who want a quality, affordable press that produces great results.

Great Product but some things you need to know
I got this French Press after I tried out my sister’s (her’s is much smaller, only single serving) and I fell in love with the flavors the brew method. The size is perfect and can pour out at least 5cups worth (depending on how big your “cup” is) and the press pushes down smoothly with just enough resistance to prevent yourself from pushing the coffee down too fast.I also use this press when making cold brew coffee. I used to have to use those disposable bags and mason jars but the French Press has a really good filter so I can brew the coffee overnight and then I can just pour it out in the morning. Easy Peasy!That being said, there are some noticeable problems with this particular brand’s press, not deal breakers, but they are problems.#1: The handle has both ends capped off with rounded metal caps. That’s fine BUT the top end of the handle had its cap fall off. Luckily i found the cap and went to Lowes to get a special adhesive for metal (it’s a kind that is specially used for Boats so it is also water resistant, so you can still put it in the dishwasher). I managed to get it back on with the adhesive but while putting it back on I noticed something potentially harmful…the metal has NOT been smoothed out. The edges of the caps are EXTREMELY sharp and I did give myself small cuts when I was pushing it back into place while the adhesive was setting. Needless to say that is a hazard for kids, so do NOT leave this where kids can grab it. If you’re a handy-man (like me) you can file and smooth out those sharp edges pretty easily so this isn’t a reason to hate the product. But just be careful.#2: Cleaning the inside is easy…but…the glass is encased into this metal holder (which looks really pretty and all) which means there is space between the metal and the glass. Inside that space I frequently get coffee grinds stuck inside the groove and it sucks to have old, wet coffee grinds eventually leaving a stagnant odor in places you can’t easily clean. Running it through the dishwasher will usually handle that because of the heat and higher water pressure washing that all out, BUT the designers really could stand to make the metal fit more tightly around the glass to prevent this.All in all, I give with a 7/10. Good product, I enjoy using it and the price is very fair. That being said, a “fair” price usually means you only get “fair” in return. Could be worse, but could certainly be better.

I had originally purchased another espresso that was labeled âAmazonâs choiceâ for two reasons – Amazonâs choices are typically very good and the pot is made here in Canada by a small business. That pot was gorgeous but I didnât really pay attention to the size of it. It looked like a pot for a tea party when I unpacked it, so back in the box it went. The one I bought to replace it is a great size, is quite heavy so Iâm not worried about it falling apart on my stove, and has a super cool see-through lid that lets me see the process. This is my first foray into espresso making without a ridiculously expensive machine, and as one who fancies herself a bit of a coffee aficionado, this is an excellent addition to ALL my coffee makers. It produces great espresso at a low price, and itâs small enough to be tucked away in the cupboard when not in use. As someone who has extremely limited counter space but still wants excellent quality and taste, this little gizmo ticks all the boxes for me.

This is a great-looking French Press or Cafetiere. I’m not sure about the durability of the glass but it was replaced immediately when it cracked after over a year’s worth of almost daily use. It comes with spare filters. The stainless steel casing is very unlikely to break, so I would suggest that the supplier carry spare glass inserts to avoid waste (by replacing the whole unit) when only that part needs replacing. In any case, I can’t fault them for the quality of the product or the service, I believe that I got value for the price I paid.

Durable quality, makes one large MUG of coffee or couple of proper espresso sized cups.. pours ok, lid quality OK , filter element sturdy quality. cheaper ones out there for sure, but this one decent quality & I’m happy enough with it. 5/5 IMHO.

Arrived yesterday. I washed it and followed instructions to set it up. This morning I was able to try the cold brew. The coffee was excellent I did add some cold milk to itIt does take a while to set up and I did have to adjust the shelves in my fridge to get it in. I think that it will be used frequently. Very happy.

Received the coffee maker on time, it has a plastic see through cap. which after the second use, the plastic cap came off, and because of the heat the plastic got loose and changed shape, was not able to put it back again, had to discard the coffee maker in the trash.it worked fine for two uses, if you buy the product, Do Not buy it with the plastic cover!!!!
