Great quality
I’ve had this teapot for almost 5 years. It has been well taken care of and held up great. The cast iron on the outside and ceramic coating on the inside work surprisingly well together. The only complaint I have is the mesh diffuser broke after a a year or two. But I just put bagged tea in it or a different kind of diffuser. The only issue that it causes is the lid doesn’t fit on completely right with the diffuser being missing.But overall with how it’s held up over 5 years it gets 5 stars. Everything man made will break eventually and this has done incredibly well.

Amazing
I’ve been wanting a tea set for years. I’ve looked at them from all different companies and thought maybe to wait until I traveled to japan this summer. But finally just bit the bullet and bought this and absolutely love it. It goes from 0 to 100 when trying to warm it on my stove and boils over easily but I’ll figure it out eventually. The taste of the tea from it is amazing. Not sure why it’s so different from my French press but it is. And the metal keeps the tea warm for so long so it tastes fresh cup after cup while I work through the morning.

Wonderfully useful
This was a great purchase. The gas stove does not leave marks on the teapot since it is already black. It heats quickly and retains the heat for a long time. The handle is solid, and the strainer inside is top notch quality. The included trivet has saved my table cloth several times. It is amazing how much water fits in despite its deceptively small size. I love that it is cast iron – this should be a teapot that my kids cannot break!

I use this for my daily ginger tea. It heats quickly and holds heat well. Cups are very heavy and hard to hold if tea is very hot, otherwise very nice collection.
