Great Size, Sturdy Straw, & Functional Handle
I own many Yeti items, as they do everything they saw they will…keep things cold or hot for a reasonably long time. They are well-made and last for years. I bought this one because I liked the slightly smaller size (26 oz.) and wanted one with a handle. The other larger tumblers I have do not have a handle. This sometimes makes it difficult to hold when full…bit heavy. Color is beautiful.

Great tumbler but may need a new lid if you primarily use it for hot drinks!
Yeti is a great brand for quality and holding temperatures for a long time with the right lid. While the tumbler can hold hot drinks, the default straw lid isn’t really ideal for hot drink sipping so you may need to find an alternative lid. I tried a couple magslider brands but didn’t like that they weren’t leakproof if I tilted in the direction of the magslider opening so I settled on the Kurotel brand which has a snaplid and straw 2-in-1 lid. Working well so far but I have noticed it’s not as tight as the original Yeti lid, which really is VERY TIGHT.Also if you primarily drink cold drinks with the original straw lid but also worry about it leaking if you tilt the tumbler or gently knock it over (meaning the lid stays on but still leaks from openings), then you can buy some of those rubber straw stopper accessories. Those help to keep liquids from leaking out the lid opening for the straw and from the straw itself. And those are pretty affordable too, less than $10 for several.

This thing is bomb proof!
I love my YETI 40 oz. tumbler! Especially in the “King Crab” color! If that name doesn’t scream YETI, I don’t know what does. Anyway, I love this tumbler – it holds a ton of liquid and keeps it cold for a very, very long time – noticeably more time than other popular name brand products of the same type. There is no taste from the inside of the cup – stays neutral and doesn’t pick up flavors of any of the liquids I’ve put inside it. The comfort is pretty good – ergonomic and at the same time, if you have weak wrists, carrying anything full of 40 oz. of liquid by the handle could strain your wrist – so check yourself. The only design complaint is that when my cat rubs her face on the cup, it’s a little top-heavy and tips over. If you don’t have a cat – so sad – but you wont have this problem.

Wonderful but expensive container
Straw, lid & mug all go through the dishwasher beautifully. Keeps hubby’s ice frozen for over a day (DK maximum-he consumes it). Attractive and not dented or scratched in 2 months’ daily use. But WHY should this purple Yeti be significantly more expensive than other colors?!? That’s the only reason for a lack of 1 star. Otherwise terrific!

Estaba entre un Stanley y un yeti. Me decidí por este último debido a las opiniones que encontré y algunos videos que vi. Me gustó el color rosa. Aunque está pesado, su asa es práctica. Lo usaré para bebidas con hielo, mi intención es tomar más agua. Un termo bonito te motiva.
