Great tasting Coffee, good quality too
This Vanilla Coffee arrived well packaged and quick, good seller. This is a good quality coffee the makers have been around for 100 years and it’s still family owned and operated. When brewing it smells so good! I’ve recommended this coffee to quite a few friends and family. Great flavor, no tartness – just the wonderful taste of vanilla coffee.

Excellent Quality!
This coffee has an excellent quality, smell and taste. Fresh ground is always better and this coffee should be at the top of the list for coffee lovers. The juice is very much worth the squeeze!

Delicious Coffee But It ARTIFICIALLY FLAVORED
This is really a shame because it makes an excellent cup of coffee, but it is artificially flavored and I understand that uses some really nasty chemicals, so unfortunately I will not be buying it again.

First bag was horrible, second was much better.
Initial review: This coffee is just “off”. It doesn’t even smell like coffee. It seems completely dried out, almost tasting like a blend of 10 year old stale beans and plywood. It’s the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I’m no $7-per-cup snob either. I just want a good-tasting cup whether it be Folgers, Maxwell House, or Eight O’Clock. I was shopping around because the price of coffee has skyrocketed, but this is actually revolting. It comes in this huge bag that’s only half full. 2lbs? Maybe, but it sure doesn’t look like it.–UPDATE: They immediately reached out to me to question what went wrong. I’m 100% convinced I had a bad/stale bag. They sent a new bag, and it is nothing like the first one. Honestly, it still has a “different” flavor, but it’s a new brand to me, I’m not used to it, and the beans are lightly roasted that seemingly keeps a little of that green flavor. Still not my favorite, but certainly decent coffee. I appreciate them making things right.

Best Coffee Ever!!
I first tried yirgacheffe coffee while living in the Med and it was the best coffee I’d ever tasted. I drink nothing but yirgacheffe now and Barrie House beans are always perfectly roasted. With this you can’t go wrong :)(I love my extra frothy latte)

Threw out 95% of this…
Used in an espresso machine (with a grinder) – though I’m not a coffee snob. Counter Culture produced great tasting coffee, as did Peets and Whole Foods in-store brand. These beans were much lighter than the other decaf beans (all medium roast), and had zero taste. If you’ve had Keurig or Flavia coffee, it tasted like a weaker version of the more tasteless options. It literally tasted like flavored water, and not like coffee at all. I ended up stopping everything out of the machine and throwing out the basically full bag. Not sure how it could be this bad – but I’ve be very hesitant to buy anything from this brand.

I don’t normally drink coffee black, but with these beans it would be a sin to drink it with anything. This is so delicious!

Fabulous aroma and flavour!! Not at all bitter, nor oily. I’ve use in drip, pour over and French press and prefer this in pour over.
