    Not Disappointed!
I’ve been wanting a single serve coffee maker for a while and have been doing a lot of reading about them to decide which would work best for me.I decided on this one for a few reasons: the majority of reviews were positive, I liked the looks of it and the Cuisinart brand is generally a good one.So I’ve had it for about two months now. I didn’t really care for the HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup because I would find a few grounds in my cup occasionally. So I bought some reusable coffee pods that fit perfectly and work better for me. I also found that using the small paper filters with lids vastly improve the taste of any coffee I use.Now I get a perfect cup of coffee in about a minute with no grounds in my cup, no oily residue floating on top and no unwanted flavors.I love that it has a ‘Rinse’ option, I run the rinse each evening after my last cup of coffee. It also has quite a few settings that can be tailored to each person.I could not be happier with this coffee maker and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a single serve that’s not a Keurig.

Nice looking , so far works great
Like that can change brew volumes easily and can brew two cups back to back without any delay of heating water.

    Engineering, manufacturing, cutting cost, disaster.
Arrived timely. Was well packaged. I set it up for use carefully following instructions. When closing the lid to the brew chamber the ready light would not come on. After 45 minutes of fiddling and reviewing instructions I could finally get the ready light to come on by flipping the lid up and down several times. This the only way the ready light will come on. The brew chamber lid catches, binds is stiff and makes ratcheting noises. It will fail or break in near future. Water filter holder makes no contact with the orifice pulling the water through; in fact there is about 1/4 inch or more of space between them. Hence the filter is useless. The prongs guiding the filter holder are too close together to allow the filter to make contact. The filter holder catch failed after opening and closing 5 times, also one of the plastic bars to hold the filter in place would rest on the water intake even if the filter holder could reach the water intake it would not seal because of the space the plastic bar creates. Coffee has terrible plastic taste that won’t go away. Can’t fit regular mugs under brew chamber even with the drip pan removed like my Keurig. No blue water level light in water reservoir. Extra hot water setting not very hot. Have to reheat in microwave after brewing. It heats water instantaneously but dribbles out so slowly that its no faster than a regular coffee maker. No blue water level light. It is a cheaply made, poorly designed plastic Chinese product. I would be ashamed to sell such a piece of junk under the Kitchen Aid name. This will be the last Kitchen Aid product I buy. In fact this is the last coffee maker of this type I will ever buy. Even Keurig has gone too cheap.

    Love this coffee maker!
I love the look, quietness and style of this coffee maker. So stylish and doesn’t take up so much visual space on the counter. I have bought 2 of these — one for kitchen and one for home office.

    Easy to use time saving.
Great product. Wish the water well was on the right and button to increase number of oz was on the right as well.

works great but cannot find travel mug small short enough to it under!
Everything fine, except, cannot find a travel mug, cup short enough to fit under! Problematic. 5″ high is all that will fit.
