It’s perfect for my cooktop and it trims so easily
I wanted a cooktop cover for my induction range that would cover the entire surface so I could put my smaller cover from my previous range on top. I love the decorative covers, but the one I have just didn’t cover enough of the glass top to provide protection when not in use. I tried to find a bigger one but they just don’t seem to make them. I cut this one with a box cutter using a metal ruler as a guide. It now fits my cooktop perfectly and I can use the decorative one on top. I had a good size piece left over, so I cut it in half to use as utensil rests along each side of my cooktop when I’m cooking. The covering is easy to use and highly functional. It doesn’t slip around and is the perfect thickness to just blend in on top of my range. It wipes clean with a damp cloth. It protects my cooktop from fingerprints and dust when it’s not in use. It also provides protection when using the microwave above it. For me it was a great value for the money and I am thrilled I found it.You can see it on my cooktop under the decorative covering in my photos. It blends perfectly.

Great for Induction Cooktops!
I bought this to use on top of our new Induction Cooktop. I trimmed it to fit, completely covering the glass cooktop. I use it to protect the cooktop while I’m cooking. Spills wipe up easily, the silicone is washable (although turmeric and curry stain the grey mat, and MOST IMPORTANT TO ME, the glass cooktop is protected from scratches while moving hot pots and pans around. The mat does not move under my pans.Wipe it with a damp sponge, dry it, roll it up until it’s needed. Any silicone residue on the cooktop wipes up easily.One added benefit; while the mat is thick enough to protect, it’s thin enough so that heating efficiency isn’t adversely affected.I’m buying a new one in black. Maybe the stains won’t show . . .

Nice size, multi purpose, durable and price point
Comes lightly folded in a box, I keep mine rolled up and stacked in slot I made, underneath the tops lip on one side.Much larger than I expected but not a bad thing, when gluing up large items that space is nice to have. cleaning is easy , I allow the adhesive to dry than peal off the glue. If it gets stuff like dust on it, I just rinse it off, let it dry and roll back up and back into its storage.Thickness is good. I donât use it as a cutting board or for storing stuff on it so expect a pretty good life span. It is durable enough and performs well for my needs. (Leather working)My work table top is HPDP slab and when rolled out this pad doesnât seem to slide around, no chasing my project around.For a kids art station, might tape the edges so the little ones arenât catching the edges or trying to use scissors on it.Plus it is large enough to cover most child size tables or a good area of where ever they play and create.

Great silicon mar!
After searching for several days, I decided to give this silicon mat a try for my island range. It was very easy to cut small holes for the knobs. Weâre empty nesters and donât cook a lot, so this helps to cover the range between each use. It also helps to protect the glass top. Itâs very easy to clean, and well worth the money.

Love the purple, but you can’t see through it
What I love is also what I dislike. The purple is beautiful but you can’t see through it. It might work well if you are familiar with your stove. My stoves controls are on the top so it’s hard to use with the cover on, also placing the pots you have to guess or roll it up and look before you turn it on. If something boils over you have to take it completely off to clean on top and under mat, then you have to have a place to hang it to dry. I suppose it’s a nice cover when your not cooking, but now that I’ve used the induction cook top for awhile, I would prefer smaller round pads.

I extremely love this matt! This matt is so gorgeous! I returned two matts that I ordered off of Amazon because they were cheap looking. They came with lines in them from being rolled up. I did everything to get them out but they were permanent. I was very disappointed. I ran into these. I instantly got excited. When I took these out the box they were rolled up as well. I got concerned because of my last experience. But the lines came right out when I unrolled them. They are thick, jet black, excellent quality. I bought 28″x20″ the perfect size for my kitchen counter. They match my appliances. They also look great with my stove matt cover and my dish tray that I purchased the same day from amazon. They all look great together. I will recommend anyone who read this review to get this matt. You will be very pleased. I would love to get them in all colors to switch up with my different color curtains. Thanks to the company that made these beautiful matts. Out of all the matts I’ve purchased. This company got it right. I will definetly be purchasing these beautiful matt’s again.

It offers no cushioning and is difficult to work with because it is so flimsy.In all fairness, the description does state that this mat is only 1MM thick.EDIT NOTE: 2/23/2024 This supplier deserves 5 stars for excellent follow up and concern for their reputation. They contacted me and made everything right with this purchase. While the product was not what I expected or wanted, it was not due to anything about the ad.

Size is true ro what’s written. Very strong material. Comes folded in 4ths, and there are folding creases but gets straightened and dissappears when may opened and starting its use 2 to 3 days later. Washes very well. Looks very clean when placed on a flat quartz counter in kitchen.

I purchased this mat to protect my kitchen bench top from food stains. I was disappointed that the mat was quite flimsy and was permanently creased from being folded during delivery. I was expecting something heavier that would have better suited my need. Nothing wrong with the mat, just not as expected.
